Ward will fight Kovalev. Ward doesn't have a history of blatantly ducking fighters. This is not Canelo we're talking about.

Ward has fought more "real fighters" in his 29 fight career than Kovalev (30 fights) and GGG (35 fights) combined. GGG is great, but Ward would school him. Kovalev will be more to handle, but Ward will win. And finally, unless you are accomplished boxer (which you're obviously not), you have no business popping off about "real fighters".

Dont forget he retired for three years and is going to fight Kov. A P4P top 3 while ggg is STILL fighting tomato cans. He's going to have a better PRE retirement resume AND a POST retirement resume. Gave GGG a 3 year head start and GGG still hasn't fought a Top #50 P4P fighter...

my statement is hypothetical, i guess you didnt catch that...of course he can stay on the bench and not do anything til fight night, because the contracts are signed, he has no choice but to fight in november, but that would be a ****** thing to do, because kovalev is the real deal ,the most obvious and sense thing to do is a tune up fight, in which he has been stating for a long time
