I didnt call him out....Dawson did....Ward called his bluff and kicked his azz

If dawson didnt think he couldnt make the weight he would have called for the fight at 175 or catchweight

Dawson never struggled to make 175 and was a prospect at 160 then 168 a while, remember he and Adonis in the ring mags.

He probably thought he'd be ok

    tough tittie

Why does he have no chance of beating Ward? Who's Ward beaten who is comparable to Golovkin? And exactly how much of a weight advantage does Ward need?

Ward is bigger, stronger, faster, more elusive. He has and throws his jab multiple ways, to the head body, power jabs, range finders etc. is a top notch counterpuncher and adapts mid fight.

As far as needing a weight advantage...that was cute how you put that...maybe he could have moved up to 168 like ward moved up to 175.

Froch and Kessler were legit elite supermiddleweights and proved it in the ring...post Calzaghe era, they cleaned out 168 between them

in their prime im not sure GGG could beat either guy. Both had heart, skill, chin, power, etc. Both were elite super middleweights.

so now you tell me how and why do you think GGG could beat ward....if ever...if you cant, just STFU

Dawson was the one who offered to come down in weight....live on TV

Sure, Ward's bigger. But stronger? I don't think so if they're anywhere close to each other weight-wise on fight night. Golovkin hits harder and has great timing. Varies his punches very well. Ward likes to work an inside out game jabbing to the body to upset his opponent's rhythm and then moving inside. Though against Barrera he seemed to stay in the pocket a bit more. Golovkin is better than either Froch of Kessler ever were at using his footwork to manage distance. He has a more varied attack than Kessler and is a much more polished boxer than Froch. His chin seems quite good and he can play defense when he wants to. Of course Ward's defense is better, it's what his style is predicated on. Just as Ward doesn't have GGG's offensive abilities. Barring a KO, the person who controls distance in this fight wins it. Can Ward work outside in without GGG connecting too much when Ward rushes in. I think Golovkin (and Kovalev for that matter) tags him. A lot. And if Ward gets inside consistently to make it a wrestling match is GGG really that vulnerable to his inside game? I'd love to see it.

Now, if Ward's got a 10lb weight advantage and the ref allows a head-butting, mug-fest like he did against Kessler, then GGG's in for a war. But if you think Ward doesn't get touched by GGG, you're dreaming.

                    As for the STFU...grow up.

Why would he go up or down in weight to fight someone less popular than him for one title, when he has 4 ex Lara and Zurdo Ramirez. You can argue GGG should have met Alvarez at 155, but Canelo said he was ready to fight GGG at 160, he was ready right in the ring after the fight. If your ok with Canelo vs GGG at 155, you must be ok with GGG vs Ramirez at 161 for SMW title.
If you earnestly believe that Gennady Golovkin is the #2 money man in boxing right now, there's no use even continuing this conversation.

Alvarez, Anthony Joshua, Chavez Jr, Wladimir Klitschko, Stevenson (thanks to Montreal), and Pascal (thanks to Montreal), among others bring significantly more money to the table than Golovkin could even dream of bringing (and that's without mentioning Povetkin in Russia, Felix Sturm/Arthur Abraham in Germany, or a host of other "feature market fighters", like Anthony Mundine in Australia).

                      you played yourself
