Don't forget Naseem was always the A-side, he was the man generating the money. Khan wasn't v Canelo.

I doubt he got a huge amount of the PPV money either. It did 600k. Once HBO take their cut, Canelo gets his, i doubt there was a huge amount left for Khan. I reckon he would be lucky to come away with $2.5m, that's including his guaranteed $2m.

As Khan's dad said himself, the Brook fight would have made him a lot more money, meaning the Canelo fight wasn't exactly a huge purse.

Plus it wasn't even PPV in UK, it wasn't even on Sky as they didn't feel it was worth it.

And why are you making things up, loser? His team are never making outsized demands, Hearn just said they made a deal quick and easy. Now when it's time to sign to fight Ggg the Eubanks want to change the way ppv operates in the UK lol
you're wasting your time trying to have a competent conversation with that ****** pugilist.

On one hand he thinks GGG is an overhyped nobody who only beats cans, but on the other hand he thinks other fighters are being quite reasonable expecting $100 trillion purse to face him.

Its like trying to argue with my 4 year old nephew..........

if the fights dont happen..no one gets credit...simple...deal with it

The belts mean nothing if you arent fighting for them...they might as well create his own belt for him. Canelito already has his own weight class....GGG is being handed the middleweight championship...may as well make him a belt

boxing is what have you done, not shouldve couldve fantasy crap....get with the program.

sorry kid. I like titles to be won in the ring, i like to watch the fights play out, not act like some boardroom decision was ground breaking.

how significant is being "unified" if you technically didnt earn it in the ring?

get out of your emotions like a little school girl and use your brain

You cant pay top ten contenders or titlists the same kind of money that you pay mandatories and no names

WHAT I SAID WAS K2 MAY NOT BE OFFERING FIGHTERS GOOD MONEY AND THE SPLIT MAY BE HORRIBLE, IT IS MORE LOGICAL THAN PRO FIGHTERS WHO FIGHT FOR A LIVING BEING AFRAID OF A GUY WHO HASNT BEAT ANYONE ELITE
And where is your proof that K2 is paying top ten guys mandatory money?? So despite the fact that fighters are willing to b stripped to avoid fighting him, pay huge step aside fees to avoid him- its his fault he hasn't fought anyone elite??

Newsflash clown, BJ Saunders was offered a career high purse yet still turned down the fight repeatedly claiming he wasn't compensated enough. So even when fighters are offered career purses, they still turn down the fight -- yet it's K2's fault that these fights don't happen-- gtfoh

Dawson took a risk at going for a title at 168. Thats what champions do....take risks...GGG could learn from Dawson and Ward(who showed he was the best at 168 and will be fighting Kov in November)

instead of sitting back, collecting belts he isnt fighting for and his team isnt willing to pay the top opponents decent money. Its no coincidence that the issue with K2 is always money. Im sure they are overestimating GGG $$$$ potential and viewership.
If Ward was taking risk he would of met GGG at 164 or 160, he just out grew the dividion and had to move to 175. Atfter a 3 year layoff he had to grow. Neither GGG or Ward wanted to move single pound to make the fight happen. The same situation with the Rigo and Lomachenko fight.

where is the proof every decent fighter from 154-168 is ducking him?

160 isnt the only weight class in boxing yet...they wont fight Canelo at 155 but would make 154 for floyd....wouldnt fight Ward at 168 but would fight froch and chavez jr there

these mfers got you mind ****ed if you think they arent playing the risk vs reward ratio....there is two sides to every story

They need to get their weight up, as in $$$ up.

HBO was not going to offer him a deal if he fought at 168....KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE....kills possibility of GGG getting beat by Ward and possibly a chance for ward to lose to Kov, who imo is better than GGG.

Also, what does the super middleweight champion look like fighting at 164 when GGG is not some big star?

GGG was willing to fight others at 168 so they put their foot in their mouth

I understand Hopkins moving down for DLH.....GGG is no DLH

Then you should be making threads about the cowards giving up their belts to avoid him, phony.
