By 2017 Golovkin will very likely have ALL the MW title belts. Which means that he will be boxing's only undisputed, unified champion, AKA the A side, and Canelo will be a challenger for those titles, AKA the B side.

No time to promote the fight for September? Wtf they talking about promote it? It needs no promoting as everyone is asking for it already. There was already enough promotion in the Khan vs Canelo fight as it was the only fight on everyone's mind already. Canelo calling GGG into the ring looked to seal the deal that it would happen this year.

I see it more as a give Canelo more time to adjust to the 160lbs division. They obviously do not see him winning at this stage and need to give HIM more time.

Yes outsmarted by Oscar. GGG has the belt and they're still stringing him along. Oscar won't even sign a piece of paper agreeing to the fight and Loeffler is sitting back looking like droopy the dog, afraid to offend Oscar and call him out on his BS. Oscar is showing everyone that GGG needs Canelo. He's making GGG look like a beggar, begging for a big fight although he already has the belt he wanted. Canelo is fighting in Vegas this September and GGG is on a plane to the UK to beg Matchroom for a payday against a British title holder.

By the time this fight happens, if it ever does, GGG will have all the MW belts and Canelo will still be trying to live down the disgrace of handing one of them over to him without a fight. Wait and see who's begging for it then.
