It's harder maybe to be IBF, WBC, IBO, WBA unified in a very same division, than grabbing WBO PAPER BELTS in 3 different divisions.

The shame is GGG won his WBC belt without fighting but not his fault.

Will you be happy if GGG moves up but Jack and De Gale duck him like Martinez,Nelo and Jacobs did at 160 and ends up beating ***in old Sturm for th WBA Belt then mandos and US police men?

Too much of that multiple "division champ" adding paper belts like Broner or Burns, or worst, Paulie who never made the TOP 5 of 140 and TOP 10 of 147 but is world champ in those 2 divisions beating N DOU and Senchenko.

I would prefer Loma to stay at 130 and unify, beating Vargas, Corrales, Pedraza, remach Salido than fighting Flanagan for the 135 WBO belt.

What about being a unified champ before you 10th fight if you want to break records...

Better to be a lineal unified champ in 1 cleaned up division (a real best) than being a belt holder in 3 different divisions without ever beating the best(s) in those "multiple" divisions.

      Like, say..... Pacquiao ?

I really don't get talk like this.

I can somehow understand the comparison between Kovalev and Golovkin. They have sparred before (and for those who don't know, GGG dropped Kovalev with a body shot). Golovkin is known for sparring bigger guys and you could imagine them meeting in the ring one day. Also, they have similarly aggressive stiles and break their opponents down.

Loma, however, is a technical fighter with subtle game, and far too small to ever be in the ring with either one. Just feeding boxing nerds and trolls to keep their keyboards busy.

Obviously. They'll probably always be bigger stars than him, though, because of their size. Unless Lomachenko makes it up to welterweight, but that is asking a lot.

Neither Loma has the Ko power of those previously named

Loma has no power to ko anybody in his division.Kova proved to be the best until today.GGG is the king of KO's. Loma is great but he is like rigo fought nobody .

You're maybe the better hating poster of Golovkin on the internet, that's a hell of a lineal title.

lol Manny is the only fighter who is "credited" 5 lineal titles in 5 weight classes according to boxrec:

                  Lineal Titles

World Flyweight Title (December 1998-September 1999) Beating Sasakul

World Featherweight Title (November 2003-March 2005) Beating Barrera

World Junior Lightweight Title (March 2008-July 2008) Beating Marquez by SD
I know...Marquez beat him blablabla (Not even competitive I guess?).

World Junior Welterweight Title (May 2009-July 2010) Beating Fatton

World Welterweight Title (April 2016) Beating Bradley after Floyd's retirement (Beating Cotto in 2009 according to other sources).

The third fighter in boxing history to only win three "Glamour Division" championships (flyweight, featherweight, and welterweight) along with Bob Fitzsimmons and Henry Armstrong.

Pacquiao has won three Ring titles in three different weight classes (featherweight, super bantamweight, and light welterweight)

We can say at least he won 3 lineal titles in 3 divisions, so how does come Pacquiao into a dabate about paper champions?

You guys Paquiao's haters are between a rock and a hard place.

He won paper belts, catchweights, is a fraud....

Then when you guys face the facts, goes "all Paulie Malignaggi", he took PED doe, "afrayd of dat dam needlez bra"

Says no one ever lol Kovalev is a unique specimen. Guy doesn't look anywhere like he packs the power he possesses. Also is a bit nimble and athletic for a guy who's Eastern European. Showing that just because you have power doesn't mean you can't learn how to box.(my favorite kind of fighters)

Can't wait for Ward vs Kovalev, it's gonna bring out the best in both!!

I could see Lomachenko with the more quality wins than both guys.

If he cleans out 130 and 135 and fight a champ at 140 and win it should be the better names and make him more of a star.

GGG hasn't beaten anyone solid and is a budding star.

Kovalev has a good resume and is practically just now getting some attention.

Loma has 2 Olympic golds and a fan friendly style, it's possible but it would be easier if he could speak english.
