And you guys are taking what im saying TOTALLY wrong. I've said MULTIPLE times today that DLH is an excellent fighter. He is a very good fighter. A legend? possibly... he is certainly good enough, and will definetly be remembered for years.

But lets take a casual fan of the sport A guy that doesnt buy fights, but downloads them after they happen. You know, a guy that likes the idea of boxing, but never really got TOO into it. He doesnt know to much about the sweet science, doesnt really follow any fighters, and just watches when he is bored. I bet u ask him the following questions about DLH, ull get the following answers:

    What is DLH's record?
Undefeated. Maybe a loss or 2, but they were early in his career.

What type of figher is DLH?
DLH is the perfect mix of speed and power. He can KO anyone with that left hook and is fast enough to dodge any punch from anyone around.
(hes got a great hook, and is fast, but cannot do either of those things)

    What Weight-class is DLH in?
    No idea

    Why is he so good?
He has beaten all the greats, even Julio Cesar chavez.

    Stuff like that.

PLEASE DONT TAKE ME WRONG!!!! DLH is a great fighter. A respectable fighter. Even the face of the game and a legend. But please admit, that the MEDIA has over-rated him to the point where u may think they are talking about someone Like ALI!!!! They have him on a pedistool, wiping his ass and shining his shoes. Still great, but the caual fan over-rates him

Oscar made short work of A level opposition.

      Like I've stated...and theoretically:

If he stops Mayorga, and Floyd or beats them both decisevely....you can shut the book on that fairytale.

All time great fighter and when I say "All time Great" I mean top ten all time. One of the ten greatest fighters to ever have laced up the gloves.

Oh and buddy: Nobody gives a **** what casual fans think.

You're dealing with hardcore boxing experts here.

"All time great fighter and when I say "All time Great" I mean top ten all time."

Funnies thing i've heard all day. Not even top 20. I DONT care what anybody says, he is not top 10 and NEVER will be!

"Oh and buddy: Nobody gives a **** what casual fans think.

You're dealing with hardcore boxing experts here."

And for the millionth time. HE'S A GREAT FIGHTER!!!! YOU CAN STOP TRYING TO PROVE THIS TO ME, I ALREADY KNEW THIS!!! AND that was my point. He is over-rated to the casual fan. He is not over-rated in a true fans eyes. My main point is that im sick of reporters and fans on other forumns making DLH into some kind of god!!! HE IS NO GOD!!! He is no longer the unbeatable legend he once was. I wanted people to agree... because im right. ANy causual fan of the sport, has DLH being the best fighter ever. n

I think I read that the Mosley/Vargas ppv did something like 400,000 ppv buys. Could be mistaken though. If not, then that's a lot of earnings.

Page 2 picks our most overrated athletes. Vince Carter and Derek Jeter, step on down.

If u look at the botton, it shows 10 more that should be in that list. DLH is the second one on their, making him the 12 most over-rated athlete in ANY SPORT!!! ANY SPORT!!! THAT INCLUDES...well...EVERY OTHER SPORT!!! This is compiled of multiple boxing experts. If this doesnt satisfy u, i guess i find more if u want

it said also receiving votes. Do you know how many times people have but Pee Wee Herman on an election card. Does that mean he's running for office. And if you could read you'd notice at the top of the page it says By Jeff Merron. So is he multiple boxing experts. Looks like one guy to me.

So is this jeff posting or do you just suck his **** if its the later heres a pic to hold you over till you see him again

VOTES as in votes from around the office and stuff. IF u go to ESPN and ESPN2 .com a lot, then u know that when they take polls and write about them, they are polls taken from professional analysts of each sport. Jeff watever was just the writer.

it didnt say that on the page, and if it was a poll then why would they need a writer, it would just be an editor. if it was a poll it would have said so, it was just a page 2 article

Don't know how you can say he is the most overrated fighter, 1992 olympic gold champion, that puts you as an elite fighter right away, for even going to the olympics. Then he dominated his division and had very memorable fights, has his own promoting company now, and is a big draw. He is not over-rated, he is right where he belongs at the moment.
