DLH is the most over-rated fighter ever!!!

Oscar de la Hoya isnt the superstar that everyone hypes him up to be. He is a very good fighter, but nothing more. He is by all means not a star, or even an excellent fighter.

Everyone thinks DLH is gonna kill Ricardo Mayorga. Mayorga is an acomplished fighter. There is no way Mayorga isnt gonna put up the fight of his life. When Moyarga fights his best... he wins. His major losses were very early in his career... you cant blame him for that.

The only advantage DLH has is "in-ring experience." Mayorga has like 34 fights or something and DLH has a little over 40 fights. Mayorga has a better KO% though.

I actually want DLH to win though, because i wanna see DLH vs Mayweather, and the only way thats gonna happen is if DLH wins. But that doesnt make De La Hoya probably THE most over-rated fighter of ALL-TIME!!! Not even exagerating. THE media hyped him to much ever since he beat Julio Cesar Chavez by TKO. That was his only amazing fight

he was getting "hyped" since he one a gold medal in the olympics. then he beat ruelas, mayweather, chicanito, hernandez, chavez, sweet pea, ike, molina, vargas, strum and i wont mention the fights he was robbed in. he has never looked bad in a fight, even when he got koed he looked great for the first 5 rounds againts a naturaly bigger b-hop. he moved up in weight, when he was at 130 he always maid weight. he is the defenition of a peoples champion

PSHHHHH. I am an ENOURMOUS boxing fan i will watch/pay for a fight even if i dont like who is fighting. I have seen a TON of DLH fights and is by no means up to par.

It takes a true fan of the sport to say that the face of the sport, the biggest name in the sport, and the classiest man in the sport, is the most over-rated man in the sport. If u dont agree, ur either a huge fan, or not a fan of the sport at all

As for Hatton. If u dont think he's rediculously good, U have clearly never seen his fights. he would clean the ring with De La Hoyas ass, his only big challenge out their is probably Mayweather.

The true fans of the sport wanna see Mayweather Margarito, and Mayweather Hatton. EVERYONE wants to see Mayweather DLH, but not nearly as much as the other 2 fights.

I agree with a poster above. Every time DLH is given the honor of fighting a great fighter, he gets his ass served to him on a silver platter.
