i agree, how many good fights has oscar given the fans? everytime he fought someone good he got his ass handed to him. also gift decision over sturm who felix won that fight clearly.

Oscar de la hoya is a great promoter, a very smart promoter, and will carry boxing on his back AS a promoter for the next 20+ years

I saw the show that said he was overrated. They are basing that largley on the Tito fight that I will admit as a Tito fan that he gave it away.

too this day, that fight is tough for me to watch, i didn't rewatch that figh till 1 month later, it was such a let down, not just the decision but the hype for the fight was great then the fight unfolds then the later part and....the fight could have been such a great fight, but in all honesty they both had too much respect for each other but delahoya clearly won the fight

As for Hatton. If u dont think he's rediculously good, U have clearly never seen his fights. he would clean the ring with De La Hoyas ass, his only big challenge out their is probably Mayweather.

The internet never smell so much like english fart before. I thought this was about DLH but I knew it wasn't when I smelled Hatton ass from the internet word that came from kfootball fingers typing up these words. He does sucha good job ass warming I could even get a whiff of the balls too.

I hate DLH guts. Everytime he got beat i was cheering so loud and collected dough.

Still the man can't be overrated when he puts up great fights like against Vargas and Quartey. He has good boxing skills, takes a decent shot, and has good power in his left hand. HE's fought great fighters and won some and loss some.

He's not the best ever and no claimed he was. He's a superstar for other reasons. So learn the facts. DLH is a star and Hatton is not allowed to bend down to tie DLH's shoelaces.

De La Hoya is easily one of the best fighters of the last 20 years. Don't judge him on recent fights, see him in his early career at lighter weights and you'll see what all the fuss was about

To the guy who wrote this how much crack did your mom smoke before she had you?When ever De La Hoya steps up he loses plain and simple.First he was beat by Whitaker and of course Whitaker was robbed then by Quartey,then by Trinidad,then Mosley,then the Sturm,then Hopkins, and he will lose to Mayorga probably.

Oscar de la Hoya isnt the superstar that everyone hypes him up to be. He is a very good fighter, but nothing more. He is by all means not a star, or even an excellent fighter.

Everyone thinks DLH is gonna kill Ricardo Mayorga. Mayorga is an acomplished fighter. There is no way Mayorga isnt gonna put up the fight of his life. When Moyarga fights his best... he wins. His major losses were very early in his career... you cant blame him for that.

The only advantage DLH has is "in-ring experience." Mayorga has like 34 fights or something and DLH has a little over 40 fights. Mayorga has a better KO% though.

I actually want DLH to win though, because i wanna see DLH vs Mayweather, and the only way thats gonna happen is if DLH wins. But that doesnt make De La Hoya probably THE most over-rated fighter of ALL-TIME!!! Not even exagerating. THE media hyped him to much ever since he beat Julio Cesar Chavez by TKO. That was his only amazing fight
