GGG team already fumbled that ball and now Ward is off "daring to be great" by fighting the number 1 guy at LHW and GGG is sitting and waiting....like he always does

Ruslan said what most of us were saying last year. But it's time to move past that.

        You can't be serious.

They asked for this so they could see those guys lose, but pretended they were doing it for boxing reasons only.

Well in GGG we have an actual champion that truly hasn't fought anyone great. That hasn't been all his fault, but it wasn't for any other fighter from the above paragraph either. these same posters have legitimate boxing reasons for this fight to happen but don't want to see it because the guy they like would lose.

I think the ward ggg fight has passed though. Sadly its another fight that fans got cheated out of seeing. Interestingly, certain fans are not as upset as they have been when other fights like this didn't happen.
GGG/K2 did what any smart "business man" would do. Why chase a skilled, bigger, stronger, man for less money (Ward), when you can chase smaller, weaker men (Cotto, Canelo) for more money? Unfortunately hindsight is 20/20! He didn't get to fight any of the smaller, weaker guys, Ward moved up chasing Kovalev, and his last opponent was Dominic Wade!

Ward's injuries, law suites and seemingly never ending need for tune-ups before facing a credible opponent like Golovkin cheated us all.

stop it dude. HBO and GGG cost us this fight, not Ward. Ward has a documented history of fighting the best. Your opinion is fine. We live in the real world though.

HBO believes Kov's size can defeat Ward, hence they steered him toward that fight and have no qualms about it. HBO knew Ward would beat GGG so they actively steered him away from that fight.

If you want to blame Ward, fine with me. Unfortunately for you, GGG and HBO showed us with their actions who they both thought GGG could beat at 168 and who he couldn't.

Ward definitely showed us who was scared and who wasn't by his actions. HBO seemed to only want to give him a deal if he fought Kov. So all we've seen is that he has signed for that fight.

I can't blame GGG for wanting cotto and Canelo as they were MW champs like him.

Evidently it wasn't worth it to GGG and Co.

You possible can't believe that? Ward has power himself, especially with ggg moving up to him. Craftiness, Ward would box circles around ggg. ggg would be hitting air all night while eating leather.

I don't blame him either! But I do get very tired of his little speech: "I'm not business man." He's "business man" just like everybody else. He's just not a successful business man like Oscar, Floyd, Miguel, and Manny. If he was smart, he would be negotiating a CW fight with Canelo. I would've proposed 157-158. How could GBP oppose that when Oscar and B-Hop for at a CW?

                      Exactly. I agree 100%

All we heard from team golovkin was froch and chavez bring money and ward doesnt.

That sounds like buisness to me.

Team golovkin is getting what they deserve.

They are willing to move down for floyd, but not Canelo
They are willing to move up for froch or chavez, but not ward.

Golovkin is a buisness man just like the rest of them, the only difference is his buisness plans keep failing
