Honestly Ward had a chance to accept it at 164. 164 is the Ideal neutral weight for a champion at 160 and 168 to fight with advantages to none. However Ward didnt have confidence in himself to beat Golovkin without having any unfair weight advantage in his favor.

I'd take Lara, Trout, Jacobs, Saunders. We likely see Golovkin move to 168 after fighting the latter two and facing Zurdo and maybe see him and Ward meeting somewhere between 168 and 175. Don't honestly think Ward can still make 168 and that struggle to make 168 might cause some arguments here and in negotiations. Hope they make the Ward fight though so we can put an end to that discussion.

GGG offered a 164 CW maybe if he said "168 lets go" we could've seen the fight
I love GGG and don't care much about Ward and i was sad to see the fight go away like that , it was a fight i would've fly to the US to see in real life have butterflies for 4 weeks before the fight , read every article and consume each minute of media , instead i got a god damn ginger running around dropping belts and GGG still looking for Elite comp to fight him.
GGG would be at a size disadvantage , but thats almost ALWAYS the case when fighters go up in weight to fight a single mega fight , thats how it goes , Krusher will be bigger then Ward as well , he barely makes LHW now.

Not sure GGG walks thru Canelo that easily, but the Ward fight aint happening. That ship has sailed. Canelo likely fights Lemeiux then GGG. Just my opinion, the way everything is going not sure we'll see a big fight anytime soon.

Ward never really wanted it, always ducked the reality.
