GGG should fight Lara on Sept and take the holiday from GBP & Canelo! there is no one out there that canelo can fight that would be worth the PPV! on Sept. I would rather watch Lara/GGG an pay! than canelo fight a nobody! or a WW! that's for sure! and as far as Lemieux/canelo nother garbage fight with a catchweight circus! thanks a lot GBP you guys suk azz!

I'd be down for Canelo fighting GGG in May 2017 but only If its 100% definitely going to happen no more excuses time wasting and so on, have them both fight in September same card both have big fights GGG can be the main event because he is the real champion of 160.

or maybe they dont eat dinner after the weigh in, or restrict their carbs, or plan an extra workout that night to combat the extra weight gain. all those things mattered. people respond differently when the parameters change to how they do things.

If no Saunders or Jacobs, GGG should take the fight. It'll be like fighting a highly skilled Willie Monroe. It's a PPV fight too. If 150,000 hardcore boxing fans bought GGG vs. Lemieux I'm sure 150,000 hardcore boxing fans will buy this fight. Lara will show GGG somethings he's never seen before and GGG will show us some things from him we've never seen before. I have a feeling the WBA is going to mandate GGG vs Jacobs but allow them one interim fight. So they both fight before the end of July and they fight each other in October.

Saying something and sending an actual offer to their promoters are two different things. People can name drop all day long but unless they're asking for negotiations stfu and keep training

oh give me a break the only person that could make a ggg lara fight is ggg please dont act clueless to how this works. ward tried to send a contract and it did nothing the only person that can make a fight like lara ggg is ggg. the obvious reason is team ggg dont think lara is worth the risk hes not a big draw but the reality is ggg would still make a good amount of money and it would do better business then a wade type fight. please tho this fight would be on hbo the only person who can make this fight is ggg. lara sending a contract is a none starter please dont play dumb to how these type of things work. Reminds me of Leo Santa Cruz calling out Rigo in his post fight interviews. Third time after beating another sparring partner you could hear a tone of exasperation in Jim Gray's voice. I believe Gray said something like, "Have you told your management team to do something about it?" I don't remember his reply, but Leo did do something, but not to make the Rigo fight. He resolved not to fight anyone but Mares, which was a good fight. Point was, don't just effing talk. Do something. Talk to your management team. They're there to serve you.

ya its possible maybe even probable ggg ends up knocking him out, i do think lara could put on weight good for 160 though i dont think the size difference would be much at all it wouldnt be no khan canelo and i think he would give a better fight then any of the other guys ggg will face if he cant get canelo or saunders. If ggg can get canelo, saunders, jacobs a lara fight makes no sense but if he cant or it gets delayed theres literally no reason lara cant be one his stay busy fights none at all and it would actually be ggg's biggest win even with lara being a 154 guy. its not like hes gonna make any less money if anything hell make couple hundred k more.

its just frustrating when guys like canelo wont fight ggg but then ggg wont face guys like lara. Team ggg try to pretend it wouldnt be bigger then a wade fight because of the struggles lara has with tv ratings and ticket sales and i get it its a business but at the same time its a bunch of bs, we all know u put lara in with ggg and its going to be ggg's most watched fight hes ever had and anyone who says different is full of it.

your statement is true, however that "fight day" weigh in usually takes place about 10am, leaving another 12 hours for the fighters to add more weight.

That is why I never like early weighins. ESPECIALLY the other belts who don't require an unofficial fight day weight. Which can give a fighter 36 hours to bulk up
