Both fighters can do whatever they like but I have no interest in watching a damn track meet. That's another sport. If Pernell Whitaker had been a middleweight, he would stay in the pocket, circle mid ring, make a fighter miss and make them pay. Not run for his life like Lara did against Canelo. Whitaker was one hell of a fighter. That's how you embarrass an opponent....the way he did.

The priority list for Gennady should be Canelo, BJS, Jacobs, Lara, Eubanks.
If any of those fights is next, I'm good.

People have been saying for some time now that GGG needs to fight an established name, Canelo blatantly doesn't want to know, if no other belt holders do at 160 then Lara is interesting...Especially if he is the one calling out.
If nothing else, then why not.

Canelo flexing his A side muscle and insisting on 155 against Golovkin is no different than GGG trying to flex on Ward by insisting on 164. However, Canelo just out maneuvered Golovkin again by vacating the belt. No belt so no organizations rules or stipulations while Canelo still remains the RING and Lineal Middleweight champion. Canelo's move also eliminates any mandated 55/45 split. Can't knock the hustle.
