Now with that said if he gets blasted out people will say he was too small, I hope they make the fight just to shut up some people here.
Well as long as they follow through with it. We just witnessed Canelo put on a song and dance routine, and then tuck his tail when it came time to back the talk up. Last year when Lara was talking about Golovkin they made no offer at all to actually make the fight.

I wish these statements would actually be met by follow-up questions occasionally. Like are they actually going to call Golovkin's team now? And later did they actually make those calls?

So much smoke and mirrors nowadays because there are so many excuses if fights don't get made.

ibf doesnt allow rehydration over 10lbs for title fights, max GGG could weigh in the night of the fight is 170lbs. unless lara is losing 5lbs from the weigh in, i doubt it.

Damn, sounds like Lil G. Anyone, from 154lbs to 168lbs (cough) except Ward, lol. Lil G needs to stop the BS and fight Lara or for ever be remember as a duck

Ward sent the coward a contract at 168. Both Canelo and Golovkin are ducking.

Why would anyone call Golovkin "cowardly". He's beaten up everyone they've put in front of him. All the "approved" so called contenders out there don't want to fight him. Is that his fault? When he loses a fight, just one, than criticism might be in order. You can't criticize an undefeated fighter until he gives you reason to do so. Does he not punish his opponents enough for you? Watch his fights and tell me he doesn't deserve credit for what he's accomplished thus far. Give the guy a break.

In the end I don't think this will actually happen. The HBO/Haymon thing will kill it. But it would be nice to see the parties concerned actually try.
