I don't consider myself a fanboy of any fighter...so you can stop that ****. This is exactly what i meant by who cares who said what. Would a 164 catchweight have been unfair to either guy? Set aside all the bs and whoever you have an allegiance to, what exactly is wrong with meeting in the middle?

You guys make up your standards as you go along. If Golovkin can call Mayweather out at 154, why can't he fight Canelo at 155? Because a lineal MW title fight should be made at the full limit where both fighters feel strong, right?

Same applies to 168. Ward would have been a zombie at 164. This is a guy that fights at 175 now. Why is Golovkin calling SMWs out for 168, but then demanding catchweights for other SMWs? Because he was scared.

Golovkin wanted to fight both Chavez Jr. and Froch at 168. Not 160. Not 164. He wanted, and still wants, both guys at 168. He turned Ward down at 168, despite Ward's possession of that "lineal" title you ****tards claim Golovkin is desperate to possess. Instead he wanted to win Ward's titles at a catchweight of 164. A catchweight he knows Ward could not make healthy.

Golovkin ducked Ward because he was afraid he couldn't handle Ward's immense skill level. He made the right choice. Ward would have erased him.

Please don't mention A-sides. Golovkin can't sell 100K PPVs in a unification fight against an exciting MW counterpart. Golovkin only seems to care about lineal titles when they are financially beneficial to him. Catchweights only work when they are financially beneficial to him. Everything is about money to this man. They still say it! Abel Sanchez was just quoted a few weeks ago stating GGG could knock out anyone up to 168lbs and would in fact be better at the higher weight. I have no problems with the "A" side getting preferential treatment in negotiations, that's just how boxing is.

Can you answer this for me? Why is it that GGG tried to make Ward come down to 164lbs but has yet to mention a similar CW when discussing the idea of facing Gilberto Ramirez, a fighter who is clearly the "B" side.

Like I said, Sanchez thinks he knocks the all out and Imo hes right, but he's not making concessions for just anyone. When he does move up he must face all comers at the weight.

Ramirez is definitely not a side but he has some momentum and a lot of potential and while theyd prefer to wait and build him up, if that's the best offer on the table why not? Ggg is no longer mando for the biggest fight in boxing, and they seem to be considering moving up soon
