All that shi.t about anybody from 154 to 168 was just Girl-talk.

The guy stayed in the amateurs until he was dragged away kicking and screaming....now he's in a dead division and afraid to challenge himself or take risks.....he's a friggin' coward.

An old coward on top of it.
You've packed a lot of ******ity in this post.

    1. Ggg vsCanelo is a Mw belt unification and a mando. CWs don't apply
    2. Ggg didn't reject anything. Canelo said he'd face him at 160 then gave up the belt without offering 160 or 155 or anything
    3. Unlike Hopkins who was presented a big money offer to fight a former Sfw champ at 158. He just gave an interview, he didn't want a Cw, tried bargaining for 159, 158.5. they wouldn't budge but the money was too good, and opponent is a midget at Mw so he relented. See the difference, dip**** alt?

GGG is a middleweight champion while Ward is a light heavyweight contender. One guy is keeping his division paralyzed with fear and the other guy is worrying about a guy 20 pounds lighter than himself......lol. Them damn facts don't always work out for us now do they?
Here's some facts for ya, Ward is set to make at least 4 million vs Kovalev, and your love interest ( g string) is set to make less than 1.5 million to face another bum. Slapping the crap out of these losers does nothing for his legacy and not much for his wallet. They could have had both the Ward and Canelo fights if they were willing to make weight concessions (they said they would?).

Kicking 35 in the arse and not one quality opponent yet and no concrete plan to do fight one.

A catchweight he knows Ward could not make healthy.

Golovkin ducked Ward because he was afraid he couldn't handle Ward's immense skill level. He made the right choice. Ward would have erased him.
Around the time of the Ward offer (ie about the time of the Lemieux fight) Froch spoke with Loeffler and was told probably not either at 172 or 168. The reason, as Froch understood it, was that GGG was gunning for the Cotto / Caneloi winner - likely at a CW - in short GGG was looking down, not up. And not just because of Ward. As to Wards 'immense skill level' - yes, of course Golovkin would have to know it'd be a massive risk... a risk, to be blunt he'd have to be 5 kinds of ****** to take when he was mandated to fight Canelo or Cotto.

The 164 'offer' was, as you rightly observe, disingenuous, and in fact, not an actual offer, but in as far as it went I believe the talk was for a non title fight.

I am a fan of both & at sad it isn't happening this year.. But for all the arguments and few nonsense claims from either fanbase, I recon the fight would happen in the next couple of yrs(may be 2018) & it will be at a catch weight.

The only deciding factor would be how would 2017 look for Ward at 175 & for GGG at 168..

Quite aside from the fact that it's far from clear Canelo would have accepted 155 (or a higher CW) - it seems that no such request was made once negotiations started - can you really come up with a reasonable scenario in which both these fights could have been made in the time period proposed (ie this year)? What like... Canelo at 155 in May then Ward in November at 168? Does that sound about right?

Exactly. The interviewer was clearly "stroking" Ward. Ward is a talented professional and it was nice of him to put up with such a low level "reporter". Irrelevant questions and frankly amateurish interview.
