Ward didn't want any of GGG. He was so big that he couldn't even make 168 anymore so him talking about fighting GGG at 168 was a lie from the beginning. He knew that he would come in 3 or more pounds over, pay a fee and rehydrate 15 more pounds over night.

Now at 175 he is preparing to duck Kovalev. He won't have a summer opponent and will say that he cannot fight Killa Kov because he hasn't satisfied his tuneup clause. Complete coward and fraud.

Where did you get information that Ward couldn't make 168lb anymore? Ward is on record stating he didn't have problems making 168lb and was instead "encouraged" to move up by HBO.

False equivalency. Ggg didn't hold the lineal/wbc smw titles and he wasn't asking for 161lbs. I'm a ggg fan, and provided canelo gives up the mw facade and campaigns at 154...i have no problem with a cw fight at 157. That's what i don't understand...who cares who said what, nobody should have had any issue with the suggestion of a 164 cw for ggg vs ward.

Another Golovkin fanboy that can't comprehend facts. Golovkin agreed to go to 168 lbs. for Chavez Jr. and Froch. He refused Ward (who was the WBA and lineal SMW champion) and demanded a 164 lb. catchweight.

He is every bit the coward that Canelo is.

Surprised you're still struggling with this. Ggg doesn't fight at SMw, such a fight would require a weight concession. A siders get full concessions. Bigger B siders coming off gross inactivity and Paul Smith on Bet would be very lucky to get 50/50 on weight and money.

Canelo forfeited his belt to avoid his mando and the biggest fight in all of boxing

I don't consider myself a fanboy of any fighter...so you can stop that ****. This is exactly what i meant by who cares who said what. Would a 164 catchweight have been unfair to either guy? Set aside all the bs and whoever you have an allegiance to, what exactly is wrong with meeting in the middle?

Golovkin wanted to fight both Chavez Jr. and Froch at 168. Not 160. Not 164. He wanted, and still wants, both guys at 168. He turned Ward down at 168, despite Ward's possession of that "lineal" title you ****tards claim Golovkin is desperate to possess. Instead he wanted to win Ward's titles at a catchweight of 164. A catchweight he knows Ward could not make healthy.

Golovkin ducked Ward because he was afraid he couldn't handle Ward's immense skill level. He made the right choice. Ward would have erased him.

Fair enough, GGG's camp should say that instead of "anyone from 154-168." Not sure how people fail to grasp the point.......
