... actually, K2 does have to pay Golovkin 70% of their bid; the discrepency comes with the handling of any upside on the event. No different that N'Dam-Lemieux, the bid for the fight was dirt cheep, the fighters split the bid accordingly, but Lemieux made a ton of additional money on the upside of the event which N'Dam didn't get.
If K2 bids an amount that they 1) don't put down the bond percentage for or 2)have no intent on actually paying the bid, K2 loses the fight by rule.
