    Danny Jacobs goes into hiding

Looks like Danny doesn't want to risk getting the WBA mandate in the event Golovkin doesn't fight Alvarez. My guess is he'll fight Blanco.

I think Jacobs got off the hook in both the Mora and Quillien fight.

I think those fights would've been harder had they not been stopped.

        No need to hide.

Golovkin vs Alvarez will happen this year. Hoya and Hopkins want it. Their boy is ready. It's a 50/50 fight whether at 155 or 160. You can't bully a guy in the ring like Canelo.

Eh, I can't fault Jacobs too bad here for fighting in July when he's been out since December. If a GGG fight was going to get made it'd probably be another month or two out from July which would put him at 8-9 months of inactivity. And I suspect this Barclays thing has been the plan for awhile (I know I heard about Jacobs & Lee being in play a couple months back) so how much longer do you want Jacobs to sit around rooting on Canelo being a momo?

And I mean if GGG vs Jacobs were needed to get made via the WBA's demands my assumption would be they could do it in Nov. or Dec. with both having a fight in between. So I don't see much of a problem with this, but I can understand those more cynical than I having a problem with this news.

The fight will happen in the fall of this year.

I doubt he is properly in hiding.

He should just fight the best opponent he can get and get himself free for the last half of the year because I'm sure If GGG is free Jacobs will be all over that.

He has no opponent yet, so it would be a blatant duck if he locks himself to a fight instead of waiting for 10 days and have that huge fight against GGG on the table.

That would be some coward move. 10 Days.

It's been since December since Jacobs fights whats the hold up? Why are these PBC fighters only fighting 1-2 times a year?? I like Jacobs he has a good story, great finisher and KO puncher and blew out the delusional great Peter Quillin but since then he just pretty much took Quillin's spot of just fighting nobody.

After the memorable battle of Brooklyn which was a huge success of a event since Haymon marinated it for 2 years why hasn't Jacobs already fought? So your telling me he's going to fight in July against a no hoper in the Barclays??
