spitting out the mouthpiece is a different type of unfair from weighing in over the limit.
one I consider cheating, and the other I consider having so much heart that you wanna keep fighting even though you're getting your ass whooped (think of his fight with Mayweather also)
both are cheating, one is more instinctive but it also had a more observable effect on the outcome of the fight
having so much heart is trying to stand up, not buying time illegally.
if this is heart, judah lowblowing and rabbit punching mayweather is the ultimate display of heart, I guess
It's the best fight I've seen BUT Gatti vs. Ward I, Round 9, that's the round of the Century, that round was better than the Rocky movies, absolutely crazy!!!!!!
best fight ive seen had to be castillo vs diego 1
ive been telling everyone for weeks they had to come over to see it. when the fight started we were on the edge of our seats screaming rooting for castillo and couple for diego at the end u were left with a feeling i cant describe a good one
even thou castillo lost
the second best has to be morales vs barerra 1
got someone to lend us a black box i was at boys house we had a tiny t.v but it work out he was rooting for barerra and he was pretty pissed with decision
in both of those fight ended with controversy but i really dont mind those fight are all time greats
weighing above the weight limit is as unpreffsional as it gets. I think Castillo made the weight for every other figh he has ever fought. I think he missed a title fight though... but any... thats EXTREMELY unprossional, and especially in one of the most anticipated rematches in the history of boxing.
And spitting out the mouth piece was different. He got punished IN THE FIGHT. He got 1 point deducted. Castillo just lost some money, which didnt effect the fight all. Hopefully this fight is clean and just as good as the first
While i agree neither fighter would be able to take such a beating again, it'll be fun to watch
Even the 4 rounds in the second fight were exciting. In fact, they were amazing rounds of non-stop action... proving that it wasn't just a one time deal. The third fight MIGHT be the most exciting of the 3, but it will never beat the classicness, or the greatness of the first fight

Castillo lost the money AND the chance to fight for the title, but that's not really the point
everyone is entitled to own opinions, the board is full of threads on how spitting the mouthpiece is cool, not making the weigh is ok or the other way round. Usually opinions depend on which fighter you were rooting for, therefore I don't care about having this debate.
back to more interesting questions
I don't think the 4 rounds of number 2 were on par, because castillo appeared to have a plan which included stepping out and not get hit, while in the 1st fight both fighters completely forgot the not getting hit part.
