Carrales Castillo 2 was a dissapointment, as Castillo weighed in WAY over the limit, and rumors of Castillos trainer having a foot under the scale to make him seem lighter. (i think its true.)

The rubber match on june 4 will be a remake of July 2005. Another amazing fight, and its sure to creat history again. I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!
it was a disappointment because castillo knocked out corrales cold in round 4, not because castillo just weighed TWO pounds over the limit and his trainer stucked a foot under the scale: if they went on to beat the hell out of each other again for 10 rounds it would have been another classic

      castillo-corrales 1, best fight I have seen

hagler-hearns round 1, best round I have ever seen ("hagler is hurt, hagler is hurt" I bet the dude was screaming, hagler never looked shaken in 60 fights before that)

        yea i loved that line.

He goes something like "but carrales just hurt castillo with that right, OH, and he's done it again" seconds later the fight is stopped. Had those 2 rights never landed, castillo would have won by KO.

Carrales truly proved that he was a worrior.

If this isnt the greatest fight ever, idk what is. And i agree with that guy a ways above me. The hearns Hagler fight was only great cause both fighters were amazing and hagler destroyed the fool. but it was only 3 great rounds so it can hardly be called the best ever.

"castillo just weighed TWO pounds over the limit"

Castillo weighed at least 6 pounds over the limit, im willing to bet. I'm not the only one that thinks this either. thousands are on my side, as i bet thousands are on ur side as well. But the trainers foot was under the scale prolly taking 3-4 pounds away from his weight. six pounds makes a diffence. Hell, 1 pound can make a slight diffence. Weight is an advantage and when u break the rules like that its unfair.

I want this fight to have them both at equal weight. No excuses at all. I want and am expecting another classic, but this time i think Castillo will win by points. they are both gonna have to much pride to go down again. they know eachother all to well. We are in for a hell of a ride in the rubber match.

Well it wasnt 2 pounds it was 3 1/2 pounds over. Anyway, out of fights that I saw live and not on vhs, dvd or sports classic, I would say Corrales vs Castillo was the most exciting.

I also agree with the previous poster that stated that Gatti vs Ward while exciting doesnt matchup with Castillo vs Corrales due to the level it was fought at.

I would also like to give honorable mention to Jorge vs Hussein, DLH vs Quartey, Tito vs Vargas, Corrales vs Casamayor II, Gatti vs Rodriguez, Cotto vs Torres, Pac vs Morales I&II, Barrera vs Morales I,II&III, Holyfield vs Bowe all but especially I&II.

Oh, almost forgot my personal favorite Rocky vs Drago, I mean talk about body work paying dividends at the end of that fight.

              I agree.......

Without a doubt this is one of the best fights ever. I give Corrales credit for his comeback. But I think Castillo should of got a standing 8. A minor complaint that takes nothing away from the fight in my view.

^^^ i dont think there was a standing 8 count in that fight... possibly. not sure. (not in the rules is what i mean. like in the rules, i think it said "No standing 8 count")

Hagler hearns are better than corrales and castillo will ever be...whats that supposed to mean.

For me, its hagler hearns, Ali fraizer, Ali Foreman and Corrales castillo.

Did you actually get to see those fights live? I was to young to watch those and although I have saw them later, it loses some of that edge of your seat excitment since I know who wins and because I know it isn't live. Yeah those were great fights but because of the afore mentioned reasons it wasn't as exciting for me, hence my nod for the Corrales vs Castillo fight.
