This was by far the most dramatic, amazing comback i have EVER seen. By far the best fight i have ever seen. And definetly the best fight EVER!!!! I was just taling about this fight on another board.

Carrales Castillo 2 was a dissapointment, as Castillo weighed in WAY over the limit, and rumors of Castillos trainer having a foot under the scale to make him seem lighter. (i think its true.)

The rubber match on june 4 will be a remake of July 2005. Another amazing fight, and its sure to creat history again. I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!

It'll always be tainted by Corrales cheating to get those extra 30 seconds of rest with the mouthpiece spitting that round, but it was still a great moment. Nowhere NEAR the best ever, though. Sorry.

Every time i watch that last round, chills run down my spine. I know i am watching HISTORY. A true benchmark in the sport, and really what this sport is all about. 2 great fighters, fighting an amazing fight. Giving their all and losing their wits in the ring.

If this isnt the best fight ever, i wanna watch the best. not many fights have it all.
            -Great inside fighting
            -An all out brawl
            -2 knockdowns
            -2 amazing fighters
-Each fighter winning almost and equal amount of rounds
            -A come from behind victory.

Those are all KEYS to a great fight, and that fight had it all. I think im gonna go watch that fight again. WOW is the only word that describes the ending.

Easily the best fight I've ever seen. Hagler-Hearns was only three rounds so that can't compare. Gatti-Ward was hellacious, but didn't have the dramatic final round that Castillo-Corrales had.

"Nowhere NEAR the best ever, though. Sorry."

How can u say that? So many great experts on the sport have called it the greatest fight ever.

Almost every article i read after the fight called it the greatest fight that was ever fought. I think ur just assuming it wasnt, assuming that there has gotta be a better fight in the Rocky or Ali era. well my friend... its hard to beat this fight. there may have been, but this is definetly up there with the top 20 greatest fights of all time.

Yeah I'll always remember Berndstein yelling:

"Astonishing, and he hurts him again"
