No, let them fight at 155 since Golovkin "can beat anyone from 154-168".
And because of the reasons stated here.....
He should fight Golovkin.....
But, Canelo knows that Golovkin pulled that catchweight bull**** on Ward..... and Canelo also knows that Golovkin tried to justify that catchweight bull**** on Ward by stating that he is the A-side.
So, Canelo figures that.....
1) I am the A-side
2) Team Golovkin use those very same negotiating tactics themselves
3) Everyone else uses catchweights..... Pacquiao used them in more than half-a-dozen fights, Cotto, even Mayweather, etc.....
4) Golovkin is an experienced middleweight, I am not an experienced middleweight..... and Golovkin has been publicly stating for years that he can beat anyone at 154.
I don't know if you could call that rationale justified, that likely depends which camp you support..... but it is somewhat understandable, especially considering the fact that Golovkin is such a beast at 160.
But regardless as to how loudly they cry, Team Golovkin understand perfectly..... because they did the exact same thing to Ward.Comment

All of his recent fights have been at JMW, against a JMW opponent.
Oh, except he prefers to come in 1lb over.
Arguing that 155 is middleweight is quite absurd.
If 155 is middleweight, then Golovkin can fight Canelo "at middleweight".
There was nothing inaccurate in that post man.Comment

What is truly a disgrace to the great heritage of the middleweight title is the fact that a fighter who has never fought at middleweight, nor the division below, is being given a shot at the title.
People complain that Golovkin, who has knocked out 22 consecutive middleweights, hasnt earned a shot. What exactly has Khan done at middleweight, or junior middleweight, or seriously welterweight for that matter, to deserve a shot at the middleweight championship?
Most rankings are like this.
1. GGG
2. Canelo
3. Coto
Khan doesn't deserve the fight but NO MW outside GGG would of brought in decent PPV sales. Khan vs. Canelo is going to EASILY do over 650K buys. They needed a name for Cinco De Mayo and Khan was it. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Khan get Bambi-legged a few times. I bet Khan will be winning on the scorecards before he gets Knocked-Out!!!Comment

Who cares ?
Those situations are identical.
In both situations..... a boxer attempted to disadvantage his opponent on the scale, and both justified the catchweight demand by stating that they are the A-side.
The principle is identical in both situations.
Oh, unless you happen to have Golovjizz in your eyes.Comment

What he's trying to say is that when he was a MW champion with 3 belts, Oscar demanded a CW, even though Oscar was also a MW champion. He accepted the CW and won the fight, thus propelling his career to new heights! Now he's a boxing legend. He's telling GGG that accepting the CW is worth the risk!
B-hop just became a canelo-tard who don't know **** about boxing..... just like breadman did yesterday LMAO
Mayweather said the exact same thing, so he can sit in the DKSAB-corner with Hopkins and breadmanComment

If every quality opponent says this, then he can never make a fight with a quality opponent.
Does Canelo not realize that he is the quality opponent GGG is trying to add to his resume?Comment

No, that is a fanboi myth.
I am referring to the JMW Canelo..... the guy who has never fought AT middleweight, and has never fought A middleweight.
You know..... the guy who fights JMW's at 155 out of entitlement.
If I call an onion, an apple, will it really taste better ?Comment
