I'd be ecstatic with a DeGale fight. Maybe if he wins, he'll get enough confidence to fight Ward.

How in the hell did Brook manage to inject himself into the big boys club? The guy is a fraud. All he does is drop big names then fight cab drivers.

This fight will not, and should never, happen.
You don't know they aren't serious, that's assumption.

Hearn contacted them about the fight, Loeffler confirmed, but Loeffler id not sure 'how to make up the weight difference' of 3lbs...

Canelo fight is unlikely, Saunders avoided him...Brook is a top quality undefeated world champ actually asking about the fight.

Abel Sanchez also said they would consider it, but weren't sure about dropping any weight.

The offer Ward gave Golovkin was to have an interim fight in between and then fight sometime within the first half of 2016 (mid year most likely) so the Ward fight would not get in the way at all. After Cotto-Canelo, negotiations would begin, and Canelo would be either forced to take the fight within 90 days, or work out a step aside deal, which works out for Golovkin-Ward either way. If Canelo wanted a step aside deal to avoid Golovkin after Cotto, he'll would also be forced to accommodate Golovkins fight against Ward mid year as part of the deal. If he did not want to accommodate GGG's Ward fight, Canelo would get himself stripped once GGG forced the purse bid.
Who are you kidding man? The mando was due in may. If the mandatory has made other commitments, they move on to the next guy, to champs great relief

In what way would Barrera make the top 3 of Golovkin's opponents? Just because he is 2 weight limits heavier?

Barrera is a respectable legitimate LHW. But he hasn't been champion or even fought for a LHW title - stop living in your fantasy world.

This is the WBC, not the IBF. The WBC allows you hold off mandatories practically forever as long as a deal is made between the two fighters.

So you seriously think their stance, after telling Canelo/Golden boy they have to fight at 160 or get stripped the belt, is to negotiate a catchweight fight with Brook? What kind of ******ed logic is that?

Further, my assumption is based on what we see from team Brook. He fought Ionut Dan Ion, Frankie Gavin, Kevin Bizier and you honestly think he's going to jump to 160 for Golovkin next? I sure as hell don't. But even if that were true, let's put all the other stuff aside like fighting nothing but bums since winning a title, and for sake of argument lets say Brook & Hearn are willing to make the Golovkin fight, why in the world would Golovkin take it? Canelo is getting crucified for fighting Khan and that's actually a somewhat big fight, so imagine the backlash Golovkin would get from fighting an unknown (in the US market) welterweight in Brook. Would be a horrible look and it would be a horrible mismatch.

When has Andrade, Charlo or Williams said that they are willing to fight Golovkin. Sources?

And as far as I am aware Lara has never said it either. Just his manager supposedly made a couple of tweets to get Lara's name back in the picture.

These guys don't even show much ambition to fight each other let alone Golovkin. At least Williams is mandatory to the Charlo-Trout fight but that is about all that is happening down at 154 unless you count Lara vs Vanes again.

I'm not saying he's all that but IMO I would rate only Murray better as a win.

                      Lemuix got KTFO by Rubio.

Geale never fought anyone and thought he was always over rated

Macklin uggg!!! Paulie fisted Jorge Heiland KO'd him.

Outside of Murray who should of got the win against Sergio those other guys have fought jack sht.

Barrera has only fought 17 times but he's never got KTFO by scrubs like those other guys did.

All I can go off of is what I see? Losing UD to P4P top #3 Ward or getting KTFO by Rubio, Heiland, and a BUNCH of other nobodies.

Please name the guys three guys better then Him that GGG beat as a pro???
