And as far as I am aware Lara has never said it either. Just his manager supposedly made a couple of tweets to get Lara's name back in the picture.

These guys don't even show much ambition to fight each other let alone Golovkin. At least Williams is mandatory to the Charlo-Trout fight but that is about all that is happening down at 154 unless you count Lara vs Vanes again.
Lara stated on this website that he wants Golovkin http://www.boxingscene.com/erislandy...in-next--92093 . He also stated he wants Golovkin on Sports world news http://www.sportsworldnews.com/artic...hers-video.htm . Andrade stated on the Ring Magazine website that he wants Golovkin http://******.craveonline.com/news/3...n-pay-per-view . Do I need to keep going?

According to who? I don't think that. Would Brook beat Martin Murray, Monroe, Stevens and Lemieux? Very unlikely since he's a welterweight. There are weight classes for a reason. It would be a joke of a fight for Gennady to fight Brook and disrespectful to the sport.
I'd be willing to bet Brook does better vs golovkin than any of the above mentioned. Lemieux? Are you serious, I've never seen more of a professional amateur in my life.

Further, my assumption is based on what we see from team Brook. He fought Ionut Dan Ion, Frankie Gavin, Kevin Bizier and you honestly think he's going to jump to 160 for Golovkin next? I sure as hell don't. But even if that were true, let's put all the other stuff aside like fighting nothing but bums since winning a title, and for sake of argument lets say Brook & Hearn are willing to make the Golovkin fight, why in the world would Golovkin take it? Canelo is getting crucified for fighting Khan and that's actually a somewhat big fight, so imagine the backlash Golovkin would get from fighting an unknown (in the US market) welterweight in Brook. Would be a horrible look and it would be a horrible mismatch.
First off, they claim that they won't catchweight for Canelo because it's for the MW title. They claimed they were open to fighting below 160 for other fights.

Dan and Bizier were mandatory fights, you know, the same as Dominic Wade.

Khan is a chinny welterweight with 3 losses and about 10 knockdowns. Brook is a big welter, undefeated and top quality. The backlash would be far less, not to mention Golovkin has called out another welter so it would hardly be unheard of.

All I'm saying is that Brook is the best fighter actually stating openly that he'll fight Golovkin. It's better than Dominic Wade.

Don't say things that make sense to triple P lovers, you'll never win.

No need to keep going, read the article first. Andrade said he wants GGG on Ppv in 3 years lol. Laras manager admitted they never even called Loeffler to try to make the fight, despite getting called out on it publicly by Loeffler. That's no way to chase a fight

They're each other's mandos. There's no distinguishable difference.

Eitherway, it would be as simple as having the step aside contract state that Canelo won't force a purse bid during that time. So it would still be Canelo's privilege stopping the WBC from forcing purse bid if you want to put it that way. And if Canelo is unwilling to agree to that simple request in the contract, there would have been no reason for Golovkin not to have Canelo stripped in January because it would show the fight was never going to happen anyway. And then they could move on the Ward with no obstacles.

Yes, I think you "do need to go on". I give credit where it's due. Enlighten me and the rest of the board please.

Your 1st link is about Lara's manager calling out Golovkin 2/3 days before Lara's fight with Rodriguez.

The 2nd link is just Lara responding to some question saying he wants all the big fights - Mayweather, Canelo/Cotto or Golovkin.

                    The 3rd link doesn't work.

So nothing on Andrade, Charlo or Williams then?

Lets deal with Lara and by extension Brook who has recently called out Golovkin. I personally pay almost zero attention to managers and promoters calling out name opponents for their own fighter in the week before that same fighter has a low buzz fight against a lack luster opponent that their fighter is expected to win. Do you see any similarity between Eddie Hearn calling out Golovkin and DeCubas calling out Golovkin? It's called good promotion but unless you have no nose for BS then you shouldn't be falling for it.
In the case of Lara personally calling out Golovkin and other top name fighters the issue is he is hurting in the pocket - he called out all the fighters liable to give him either a decent or a great paycheck. That was back in June '15. To the best of my knowledge he has been silent since then. Nine months have passed. He could be doing a Briggs and shadowing Golovkin or at least be tweeting every week calling out Golovkin. Nada. So for me it's not a real interest. Anyone can throw a name out once or twice.

Let's see if Brook and Hearn continue to chase Golovkin. I suspect he will go after Danny - unsuccessfully.

For what it's worth, Loeffler is doing the same for Golovkin who is in a lack luster fight against Wade. He is getting Golovkin's name out there some more as his profile has gone down a little now that Ward has moved up and with the resurgence of the heavyweight scene grabbing the headlines.

Is that what the link says that I couldn't open. Haha. Imagine using that as support for your argument like he did - fkn weak!

And still nothing on Charlo and Williams. I like Williams, I think he has no fear of Andrade Lara or Charlo - and I also thing he is a huge LMW so in time its natural for him to move up to 160. Ditto Andrade really but his career is just a complete mess at this point compared to what it should be.

I wonder why these a5shats don't get on Jacob's or Quillen's cases more. Quillen is in a bad situation but he could be a hella lot more active getting back into contention. Jacobs has no excuses whatsoever. He has the jr belt version of Golovkin's belt. If he had any ambition he would be calling Golovkin out. As it is he is getting ripped by Saunders on social media for being unambitious.
