A 50-50 split with Ward would've been GGG's biggest purse

I am very confident GGG would make more fighting Froch than Ward and he will get a big piece of that UK fan base if he was to beat Froch in a spectacular fashion.

There is no denying that Froch would have been the best option all around (purse/popularity) at SMW, but i also think Ward was a good option, just not as good.

Of course Canelo and Cotto were the best option (at the time the decision to pass Ward was made), too bad that it doesn't look like Canelo will fight GGG, oh well **** happens.
You're giving your opinion but I'm talking hard numbers. I don't see where this $10-$15 mil is coming from. I don't see where he gets more than Groves. Groves-Froch II was rare and the only fight that would be bigger is Joshua-Fury

yet here you are in every thread about golovkin... posting, posting and more posting... 150k ppvs or 97k ppvs... still way better than 350k BET views, you have to learn how to live with that.

        Think we're done here.
If that's what I said it would be easy to copy and paste it.

Keep fooling yourselves with this crap.

Ward did nothing for 2 years to make the fight happen. His joke offer came out of the blue when GGG was already promoting his Lemieux fight. It's an offer to save his lying face.

          People are not ****** doe.

If Bumlovkin is after Alvarez then why accept step aside money not once but TWICE? If Bumlovkin wants the fight then why not accept the 155lb catchweight and agree to Canelo's demands seeing as he is the "A" side and not Bumlovkin?

That's all it boils down to. It's time to put this topic to rest.

I don't know why people continually lie when the truth is out there. If I wanted to hate on GGG I would say 97k PPV but I don't. I say 150K in PPV because those are the numbers his promoters released.

The total attendance for the show was 9,016 in which Roc Nation Sports commented that this was the first card they had promoted in which the crowd arrived early and was their for every fight. Golden State Warrior and NBA MVP Stephen Curry led Andre Ward to the ring as well.

look GGG is getting huge gate against very unknown opposition, this is a fact. I can't tell you how much money they will make cause the fight never happened. the fight between Groves and Froch based on conversion had what approximately 15+/- million purse, i can easily see a split of 10-5 million if the fight generated the same, can i say for sure that it will generate the same... no, but GGG at this point is a bigger star than Groves was... and Froch would have been bigger after Groves than before Groves so based on logic the fight could easily generate more... its all speculation there is really no facts here to work with of how much GGG would have made had he fought either Ward or Froch.

Loeffler said the offer was for a 50-50 purse-split in 2016, after each fighter had prepared by taking one more fight earlier in the year.

                    So I'll rephrase:

                    A) $3-4 million in mid/late 2016 and take a loss

                    B) $1M per fight/2-3X per year + Step aside fees + cashout of $5-6 million in 2017/2018.

No he isn't. You're guessing with nothing to back it up. How many seats/PPV's has GGG sold in the UK? Groves-Froch II was rare and would probably never happen again. The only fight that will compare to it is Joshua-Fury.
