Show me a direct correlation between the GGG-Lemieux PPV and Ken Hershman leaving HBO.
Hershman left after signing "Mr. Horse ****" Andre Ward lol.
Left Peter Nelson holding the bag.
HBO reduced budget and they decide to spend money on a douche who faked an injury to get out of a fight in November and then went on the fight game and admitted it.

If you earnestly believe that K2 broke even on 97k PPV buys (with 50% of the PPV money going to the distributors/HBO), you're kidding yourself.
Your forgetting sponsorship money, which was more than any previous GGG fight and international rights fees. So yeah, I do think they broke even.

Besides a promoter's job is to promote. K2 is in the GGG business for the long haul.

He's a joke and the only bigger jokes in the world are the f@gs online who defend his horse **** lol
ward wanted 2 fights before the ggg fight. why are ward fans ignoring this? ward wanted a 50-50 split. why are ward fans ignoring this? i know a duck when i see one. a duck is turning down a career high payday to fight a top fighter in your division. ward-bute for example comes to mind. no excuse not to make a careery high payday and fight the #1 guy at the same time yet ward turned it down. if ggg did the same i would say its a duck. floyd did it to marg, saunders to ggg and so on.

Ward got $2M for Rodriguez, Smith, and now Barrera. Golovkin's first career $2M payday came against Lemieux on PPV. A massive failure which not only tanked the career of Ken Hershman, but also ruined HBO's budget and schedule for the foreseeable future.

            Video killer the radio star.

            Golovkin killed boxing. ****ing coward!

They ignore all those inconvenient facts lol
Ward said he would fight Bute.
Bute was #2 at SMW by most opinions, was undefeated, had the IBF belt, better performances than Ward vs common opponents and offered a career high payday. Even offered to fight Ward in Oakland for some dumb reason and Ward did not want it
The sweat on his forehead hadn't even evaporated after the Super6 final and he talked his way out of that fight lol

Did you even bother to read these links? This is from the ESPN article:

"...under Hershman's watch at HBO, the network signed established fighters such as Mexican star Canelo Alvarez and heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to network contracts. He also signed middleweight titleholder Gennady Golovkin and light heavyweight titleholder Sergey Kovalev and helped build them from virtual unknowns into cornerstones of their boxing program."

No mention of bankrupting HBO in the aftermath of GGG-Lemieux.

Coming from someone whose best arguments are supported by a Facebook link and and article he never read, I'll take that as a compliment.

yea ward makes a lot of money and loses his promoter tons of money everytime he fights. that's a good thing now? its about how much revenue you generate not how much you get paid. that's how splits are done and that's why ward destroyed his career. the only guys he wanted to fight hbo wouldn't approve and the good fighters he wasn't willing to fight.
