Very true, but Ward is getting older, moving up in weight, barrera is a pretty big and rough lightheavy and Ward might not be able to be as physical and muggy on the inside and he usually is

As of about 20 minutes ago, Ward-Barrera looks to have already sold over 7k tickets for the fight, with two weekends to go. I have no doubt that the total gets over 10k once fight night comes about.

Ward's not Floyd Mayweather or anything, but to act like he's only "drawing garbage crowds" is really disrespectful.

3 years of the HBO hype machine and Golovkin's not selling out venues; MSG only "sold out" within days of the fight, and The Forum still has over 20% of the seats available with a month to go (and the tickets already having been on sale for a month at this point).

        don't kid yourself
RNS gave away almost have the tix to the Paul Smith fight. This fight should actually "sell" more. The Dawson fight was papered to some degree as well. I read that the Kessler fight did a legit 10k.

As for GGG he did sell out the MSG even if it was days before and look at how many tickets at the Forum he has sold and we are still over a month a way. He has proven to be a way bigger ticket seller than Ward.

Now he's no top guy like a manny pacquiao selling 40k at Cowboys stadium or Canelo at the alamodome but you gotta give him his credit.

this guy is just a delusional spinster. every fight you can say they "sold" 10k tickets since the ticket brokers are the ones "buying" the tickets yet did anyone really buy those tickets from teh ticket brokers? no. no they did not. he's spinningggggggg like a top just to pretend this boring fighter is popular.

You mean that despite having taken place after Mayweather-Pacquiao, GGG-Lemieux single-handedly depleted HBO's coffers? GTFOH!

Show me a direct correlation between the GGG-Lemieux PPV and Ken Hershman leaving HBO.

Yeah had to go ahead and get that 50/50 split agreed to up front for a fight that wouldn't even be happening next because Ward faked an injury and pulled out of his November fight.
Had 1 fight since 2013 and it wasn't even at 168.
He's a joke and the only bigger jokes in the world are the f@gs online who defend his horse **** lol
