I admire McCregor and his all action striking style but a lot of weird comparisons are being made to make excuses for him.

I read a guy say that what he did is the equivalent of Mayweather fighting Andre Ward or Jean Pascal, that post almost gave me cancer lol.

Nate Diaz is an average 155 pounder, he was also fighting above his weight class!!! Anyone who watched McCregor knew something like this would eventually happen, like Rousey he has OBVIOUS wholes in his game.

The UFC brand will not suffer because of this, the fans know that the best fights will continue to get made, though I must stress that this match up was not the best vs the best. Diaz was just a late replacement, he wasn't supposed to have any chance taking the fight on 11 days notice.
