Dumb thread. They haven't even had any negotiations yet. Canelo is a bigger star than golovkin. Nobody on the golovkin side denies that. But even canelo has yet to prove he is a superstar. His ppv's against unknown guys go the mainstream didn't exactly light the world on fire. Oscar is a promoter and lately he is in full time promoter mode which means almost everything is a lie or an exaggeration.
We will see in may if canelo wants the fight or not. If canelo and oscar want the fight it will happen.

After reading a quote from Canelo today stating that he could come into the Khan fight re-hydrated to 190 or more, I thought this guy is a piece of work whining about weight. GGG should go ahead and move on, fight at SMW where he could find fights more readily. Canelo will not fight Golovkin until he is 40+. (Even at 99% of the purse)
