And a fight selling poorly on HBO doesn't mean that it can't get very good viewing figures outside the US. That's my point.
    Well what's Golovkin's numbers globally vs Canelo's?

And I get your point but I don't see the relevance considering you can say the exact same thing for Canelo that you're saying for Golovkin-Lemiuex on top of the fact Canelo's PPV numbers are much better.

      Just a random musing ...

Also did anyone know that the source of that 97K rumor also claimed Canelo-Cotto didn't break 600K? Funny how haters run with one rumor and run away from the other--even though the rumors stem from the same source!!!

Watch them all ignore this post.
Did you ever notice that your post says nothing relevant
Did you ever notice that 600k is greater than 97k

Did you ever notice that Cotto sells more ppvs than Lemieux?

Canelo did 350K vs Angulo and Lara. Do you want to give Cotto credit for that too?

          • Team Canelo should budge from a 90/10 split and give in to 89/11.

If Team Little G doesn't accept that then they could go rematch Gabriel Rosado in Monaco like the lame f**ks they are.

It's obvious that those markets UK and Argentina don't bring anywhere near close to what HBO fies

The "Little Team" in this scenario is Team 155.

Let Canelo drop the belt and continue to fight at 155 and see if the act doesn't get old real quick.

The fact that K2 offered BJS $3million to fight GGG, twice what Lemieux was paid, speaks for itself really.

And BJS is not a big name in the UK, btw.
but there is no money to pay ward or lara doe!!!
you know damn well ggg isn't near the star canelo is, he is fighting and living in the us for a reason just like canelo... he wants the Mexicans to support him just like canelo... heck even Floyd wanted Mexicans to like him in the us... if ggg stays fighting bums in Monaco for the rest of his career he wont reach superstar status even if he ends up undefeated ...

I don't have the international numbers to compare. All I was saying is that the HBO PPV income only part of the total income for a fight.

Yeah, but it was screened in many other countries, not just UK and Argentina.
