Clear this up for me: GGG will fight Popkins at 168 but they wanted Ward at 164

There was no ducking done, there was business being done. Just like GGG's willingness to fight Froch, Chavez Jr, Hopkins at 168, but Ward at 164(or basically no Ward at all). He claims he's a fighter and that he's not into business, that he is not a businessman. But he understands it pretty well because he did it himself to Ward, and does it to Lara. K2's reason for not wanting Lara, which is well documented, is because Lara doesn't bring anything to the table(except the best name on GGG's resume).
great post man and thats the way I see it

Just because I dont agree with how the game is doesnt mean Im oblivious to how it works
GGG should man up and fight someone with a pulse....not a geriatric old man when there are plenty of fighters who'd fight him from 154-168...its all about who his team wants to put him in with.
They are trying to build him as a star and monster without having to fight elite fighters and fans and the public are smarter than that...its put up or shut up time and he is going on 34 years old
Wow what an incredibly contradictory post you just made here!
In your first paragraph, you literally talk about this being "prize fighting" and fighting for money, completely excluding boxing as any sort of sport at all and it's all about making money, legacy be damned ("legacy doesn't pay the bills").
Then you literally go on and say golovkin should go fight some one worth a damn after you just explained why anyone worth a damn isn't fighting him! Holy shit I haven't seen such a contradictory, hypocritical post like this in ages. Further, if this is "prize fighting" and "all about da money", under your logic why should Golovkin do that and not simply follow the PBC blueprint of low risk/high reward?

First, for comic relief, lets start with your Hopkins vs Kovalev prediction:

That's funny and all but NOTHING compared to this gem:

No way in hell will Triple Duck fight Hopkins....
This fight will never happen. Expect Golovkin's people to do their version of hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil...especially given Hopkins' tendency to end guy's careers.
