Ward ducked the GGG fight in 2013 at 168 when it was offered to him.
In 2015 Loeffler said if Ward wants 50% money he has to meet GGG at the middle in weight as well, since GGG shifted his priorities on unifying the division and Ward has become an inactive has been fighter without fans.
Hopkins last fight was at LHW. GGG wants to unify MW titles and he would only fight Hopkins if there is no other good opponent at 160 willing to fight GGG. Ward didn't even try to negotiate until GGG had a PPV lined up and was mandatory for GGG/Cotto winner and said he wants to concentrate on 160 unification.
GGG would meet Hopkins in the middle same as he would have met Ward in the middle, but his priorities will always be at 160 if the other champions actually stop ducking him.
I asked a simple question and I give him credit for being a good fighter. He just isnt top ten p4p in my opinion and his resume is trash in comparison to the hype he gets...dont like it....dont read my posts because Im very consistent and expect things out of him that I expect out of everyone else.

We also know that GGG and his team will take any high paying fight regardless of whether it meets his "goal" of "unification".
Why do we need to keep discussing this. Those that like GGG will only focus on the fight he doesn't get and not the poor quality fights he makes. They will not criticize him. They like that he has an easy road to the top. Any of us that call him on the above will be branded black and racist.
All i was simply asking was were they really in talks...I wasnt even trashing GGG

Were you not paying attention when Ward demanded a 50-50 split and an 18 month delay in having the fight? Even if GGGs management was brain dead and accepted such a ridiculous proposal, the fight STILL wouldnt have happened yet, as Ward would still be on the "Tuneup Tour 2015-2016".
Ive read enough of your posts to know that you are smart enough to know the offer from Ward was not serious, so why troll about it? Arent there enough GGG hate trolls on this board already?

It's self explanatory man. All this thread will be is a circle jerk of critics and crying from fanboys.
Ward is a more risky fight with a lesser known fighter.
Hopkins is a less risky fight with a more known fighter.
We know this already.

GGG, his team and his network did not want to fight Andre Ward. When GGG acted like he wanted it, HBO moved away from the fight. GGG and his team knew HBO wasn't going to do the fight, especially after Lampley said on air and on TFG.
You will NEVER criticize GGG and his team. When they say something or do something questionable you pass it off as not serious or joking. When anyone criticizes them you immediately play the race card in some form or another. When it gets really bad, you actually opine that the only people criticizing him are black.
A few weeks ago you made me a bet that GGG and his team were joking about Bhop. Well is this enough of a " serious negotiation" that you lost our bet?
edit-your bet challenge post below. LMFAO how gullible you are when it comes to GGG.

but a month or 6 from now, when there has been NO attempt whatsoever at making GGG-Hops, maybe you will figure it out.......
But lets make it interesting. I'll bet $100 that there will never be a serious attempt to make GGG-Hops. Money gets paid to the charity of your choice, and I'll post a photo of the receipt. You game?Last edited by The Big Dunn; 02-24-2016, 10:44 AM.

common sense prevails again. people ask others to answer questions they know answers to just to keep the cycle of hate and nuthuggary going.
