A tune up is fine. Ward hasn't had a meaningful win in over 4 years. Every big fight that comes up is prefaced with "a couple more tune ups first". His competition over the last 4 years is worse than GGG's. Obviously he needs to ease his way in, but how many years and how many fringe contenders does he need to eat before he is back at the top level of competition? I'm hoping within a year.
Ward is better than old man Hopkins in almost every way, but Hopkins is as experienced and cagey as a fighter can be, has a great chin AND most importantly, he didn't fight to win. He fought to survive. I fully expect Ward to come to win, that is exactly why he is going to get knocked out.
Wards are smith, Rodriguez, Abraham, froch and Dawson
GGG has not been in with the level of ward period
Proof is in the pudding
Ward cut from a didn't clothe than anyone GGG has fought also Kov...kov best win is hops n Pascal... Ward beat
GGG don't have much proof or has he fought a Kessler, froch type...elite
Coming to win is a bad thing lol
Anyway we'll see

In your first paragraph, you literally talk about this being "prize fighting" and fighting for money, completely excluding boxing as any sort of sport at all and it's all about making money, legacy be damned ("legacy doesn't pay the bills").
Then you literally go on and say golovkin should go fight some one worth a damn after you just explained why anyone worth a damn isn't fighting him! Holy shit I haven't seen such a contradictory, hypocritical post like this in ages. Further, if this is "prize fighting" and "all about da money", under your logic why should Golovkin do that and not simply follow the PBC blueprint of low risk/high reward?
Now hes gonna try and explain why its ok to demand that GGG has to fight for legacy and not worry about money because he needs to fight a name fighter. But then hes gonna say that nobody with a name should fight GGG because he doesn't bring any money.
