The draining angle just doesn't resonate when your opponent is a no hoper from division below, get it? You got some input in this thread?

The discussion is about bullshit CW's, Pacquiao's CW against Algieri qualifies as that. It's understandable you don't want to include it in the discussion you being a Pac turd.

Agreed. What Canelo is doing is bull****, but I've got no sympathy for GGG after trying to do the same thing to Ward. The fanboys obviously defended it back then, claiming "A-side doe!!!".

Well, he's not the A-side now.

It doesn't qualify when your opponent is asking to defend his 140 belt next, ******

So have you found any precedents for the points I listed, or is Canelo first on all counts?

So Pacquiao conceding weight to Chris Algieri is Pacquiao forcing a catchweight on him. I see it more like Pacquiao not forcing Algieri up a whole division instead and losing the extra weight to make it fair.

If Canelo was coming with no belt, offered 157 and 50/50 to lesser draw, GGG would take it in a second, so clearly not the same. But I wouldn't expect better from looooolman

No, Algieri wanted the full 147. Pacquiao wanted a CW to prevent Algieri from putting on extra weight and being as strong as possible. You can try a spin it but it isn't going to work.

                    • The Pac turds that jumped over to Lil G are showing the same hypocrisy they showed with Pacquiao, with Lil G. Easily the worst group of fans today.
