    Bull****.

If Ward beats Kovalev, especially if he does so in dominating fashion, Golovkin's people will NEVER let him in the ring with the man.

i believe it will happen. I dont think that beating Kovalev will make this fight less likely, in fact i think this fight will most likely happen if Ward wins. Team GGG didn't fight at 168 but they tried to when it came to big cash cow names like Froch and Chavez. Like i said before Ward is no easy fight for anyone and when you have shots against Canelo/Cotto in the near future you wouldn't have much of an incentive to go up to fight a higher risk lower reward fighter like Ward who has been away from the public eye for majority of the last 3 years... that wouldn't be the case by end of this year. As a GGG fan i would support this fight 110% if Ward and GGG win their fights with Canelo and Kovalev.
As a fan of both I wouldn't mind seeing the fight at a CW. I also, don't think Ward and GGG agreeing to a weight will be much of a problem either.

If Ward beats Kovalev and GGG beats Canelo, I'll be more worried about the fight dying over the revenue split. I can see their egos causing huge problems at the negotiation table......especially if Abel Sanchez is involved.

This makes NO ***ING SENSE! WTF! How about just STOP talking about Ward all together, he already moved up and when he was at 168 they wasn't interested in fighting him

How do you figure? His team seems great, one of the best in boxing. It's Ward that needs a better team, probably Kovalev too

im a fan of both and it would be nice to see GGG fight someone elite before facing Ward who is bigger and more proven

I doubt it happens...if they do beat Kov and Canelo, someone will price themselves out.....I just dont see it happening for several reasons

I would really for team g string to accept a fight vs an A list opponent. Wouldn't you? Not from the posts I've seen. You seem perfectly fine with him fighting one no hoper after another.

We'll fight anyone from 154-168, as long as HBO approves, as long as we dictate all the terms, as long as we get the lions share of the money, and as long as your name isn't Andre Ward.

i dont think GGG fight ever fell through because of the revenue split, but who knows, maybe it will in this particular fight because of the history that these two had of the back and fourth banter between the camps.

He'll be fighting Canelo this year, if Canelo is brave enough to fight him.

And what offers from A list opponents has he ever had?

Apart from one to fight Andre Ward, at some unspecified time further down the line, which came after he had already signed for Lemieux and was hoping to fight the winner of Cotto/Canelo after that.

you must be talking about Ward lol, even when Ward was barely active for 3 years he said it was a 50/50 fight. GGGs fight never fell through becasue he dictated any of the terms... its more of a Ward thing.
