    Michel talking crap again...

    Bunch of double talk...

Inflated numbers, who cares.. It was a 50/50 split.. If I did 5 mil or 15 mil, adonis is getting paid well

And why is showtime involved and being a deal breaker... "Espinoza said he would help is get to 250k PPv buys". Lmao... Like hbo needs someone to help them sell a PPv

Literally, the guy just said showtime is only there because Espinoza said he wants to help. Lmao, and it's crap like that, that kills major fights, and they wonder why boxing is so dead in the US..

    50/50
    Hbo PPv
    In Canada

Those are fair terms to everyone involved, this fight should be easy to make..

What else is stevenson going to do, except for a fonfara rematch, he really doesn't have any significant fights to chase

HBO needs help selling any Kovalev's fight... For some reasons the guy has the charisma level of a Jerboa.

Kovalev has been making lots of noise but still isn't a mainstream star and Stevenson hasn't done anything of note since he left HBO and has been completely irrelevant. The only time his name is even mentioned is if kovalevs name is brought up.

This fight is barely a Ppv worthy fight let alone a Ppv fight that warrants 2 major networks to get together for.

At the end of the day it's Stevenson who loses. Kov has a mega fight scheduled for later this year vs Ward so long as everything goes according to plan. Who does Stevenson have lined up??
Kovalev vs Ward isn't a mega fight either

Regardless, hbo needs no help from showtime to do this PPv. It's just an excuse from Michel as to why the fight didn't happen.. Total unnecessary roadblock

Half man Espinoza sticking his nose in it too lol.
If Stevenson wanted the fight, he would've made it in 2014 when he was supposed to. Instead he chose to run and hide behind Al Haymon.
Kovalev got all the "big fights" that Stevenson was supposedly running away for.

Now it's split the PPV. If Main Events gave in to that demand, then team chicken**** would find another demand to get out of the fight.

You're right. Maybe "mega fight" was the wrong term to use but it's bigger than kov/Stevenson or anything that Stevenson has lined up.

i dont care who gets mad..i'm sticking to saying these networks should work togehter..business relationships are just as strong as contracts when you are loyal, and we dont not know if showtime has options on haymon fighters bc they keep their side on hush

but im a proponent of these teams working together bc it betters boxing overall not only for that fight, but for tomorrow as well

it was nearly 20 years (OR WAS IT MORE) since they worked together before the floydpac fight..
this fight would make it 1 year since they worked together...THAT IS A HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT
