    I would say it is.

I saw the threads on the night of the KO. Hardly anyone were speaking of the performance, rather only the KO.

And I don't believe I ever said everyone agreed or disagreed.

Hardly the same as punching and then landing on the floor after punching air.
still,..a poignant point don't you think?

I was right there on the threads and no one was saying he was the best HW, etc. In fact, most were saying he'd lose to Povetkin. Those who think otherwise felt that way before Szpilka. I don't agree at all, unless you can name specific posters or threads but I doubt you can.

I would say there's a fair distance between the two.

Would be enteresting to see Fury in with some one he doesnt tower over and have the advatage in athleticism

Wilder would get outworked in spots and outboxed by my estimation but Wilder has that equalizer and Fury has been dropped by fighters who dont have near the power of wilder and both knockdowns were right hands...Fury is so square when he throws his punches that when he trades he susceptible to overhand rights. IMO either Wilder wins by KO or Fury wins by UD/SD/MD
Fury WAS susceptible to overhand rights, but that's something he's clearly fixed now.

The overhand right is Chisora's Sunday punch. He rocked Fury with it several times during their first fight, but never landed it once in the rematch.

If you compare Fury now to how he was before Uncle Pete took over coaching him, you will see that he never gets squared up any more and doesn't make the mistake of pulling straight back with his head in the air while trying to make space, which was something he had habit of doing, once upon a time. That, combined with his height, was what made him vulnerable to overhand rights.

If Szpilka's feignts and southpaw stance confused Wilder, think what Fury could do to him. Tyson can box very well southpaw when he wants to.

Yeah but your initial post implies that more people are now convinced he's the best HW in the world after the Szpilka fight. Your poll wouldn't support that premise unless you specified how that fight changed opinions.

                      Lol. That's a good point.

Wlad could bore a statue to sleep, but nobody can question his technical ability.
