Marination is a part of promotion. Every promoter is doing it right now. GGG/Canelo - marinating, Crawford/Postol - marinating, Lomachenko/Walters - marinating.

Unfortunately boxing doesn't work that way. A loss is a HUGE set back to the fighter and the promoters investing in him. When you lose a fight, you hit rebuild mode and have to work your way back to the top.

The problem with Haymon fighters is Khan has fought what 5 straight bums since Garcia almost 4 years ago. Thurman won a belt what 3 years ago? and still hasn't fought a single top ranked welterweight. And neither is because one guy is under one promoter and the other is not so you have boxing politics holding it back. All these guys under 1 camp and not fighting for years! That's not called marinating. That's called BS!
That's 100% Khan's fault. He held out in hopes of getting Floyd or Pac. Thurman fought Diego Chaves, Robert Guerrero and now Shawn Porter. That's respectable. The opposition of PBC fighters is no worse than your favorite fighters.

Listen you boys/girls go ahead and think boxing is still very popular as it was back in the day. It is in a lul and there are no stars other than Canelo. NONE! Have said this before and with the rise of UFC/MMA it is going to struggle. So watch and be happy or wish for more of its downfall but im gonna watch.

I have an idea, let's post the ratings for the last 10 TR cards and stroke ourselves over Arum's impending bankruptcy!!!

That played a huge factor in the numbers being so low.

Man aaron rodgers just thrown that hail mary right during the fight

THis is another area where Haymon and his associates dropped the ball.

Wilder should have been positioned to fill the void Floyd left. You should have paired him with Thurman and Santa Cruz. They really should have had a plan in place.

That was awesome! Too bad they took a dump and left Fitzgerald wide open twice in OT.

These shows should be doing 1M minimum. It doesn't look like Mayweather or PBC has benefitted Showtime in the long term at all.
1 mil minimum? I am a hadcore boxing fan an I only watched two of those live, and I know for a fact none of those names are huge with casuals, maybe Bute locally in Canada...

I think your expectations for fringe contenders/paper champs are severely unrealistic.

Arums finances dont concern me nor do I care.

Speaking on bankruptcy, maybe you should be more concerned with Haymon blowing thru half of Wadell and Reed's half a billion dollar investment with zero results thus far.
