Was there ever a fighter who was as feared, as avoided in the sport? Was there ever a fighter that had all other champions and belt holders totally shook and making excuses after excuses to not have to fight him?

Was there ever a foreign fighter that becomes a fan favourite fighter within such a short time frame? Was there ever a fighter who totally knocks out opponent after opponent while defending his titles and at the same time fighting the best available opposition including mandatories and everyone who dares to step into the ring with him?

Was there ever a fighter that fights so aggressive, so exciting and entertaining, takes so many risks and still has not been knocked down in 350 amateur and 35+ pro fights?

Was there ever a fighter that gets so much attention on all boxing forums, that generates so much buzz and has all the haters and fans from other fighters go crazy with excuses and lies?

if you want me to name one then i would have to say Broner he was #6 in the ring p4p rankings at the end of 2012 and had even ****tier resume then GGG he had 2 more fights he won after that and likely made it into many p4p top 5 lists and his best win by that point was... Paul Malignaggi... yes you heard it here first.

GGG is on all of the major ones unlike pavlik

Stop deflecting...its a simple yes or no question

If Hopkins, Jones, Nunn, monzon, hagler fought his level of comp til the end of their careers they'd have had the same results

You have to consider strength of schedule....his best opponent was lemiuex n Murray

Jones won titles at 160 n 168 and wasn't rated that high til beating James toney who is a high calibre, hall of fame guy...was 40 something n O with a win over ATG McCallum.......before that be beating toney he beat champs Jorge Castro, Jorge vaca, Bernard Hopkins
Your over analysing and thinking too much. For the people ewho dared get in the ring with him, GGG did what he had to do to be considered great. GGG can't help the fact that canelo scared to fight him at 160. So that is out of gggs control, freaking his opponents out.
So GGG has done far more than u give him credit for.

Nah I just looked it up. He has the weakest resume of any fighter ranked in Ring's top 5 p4p in history.

How about Corrales, wasn't he #3 p4p when he faced Floyd? Thin resume, and the p4p ranks were much stronger than now

Impossible. How could Corrales ever be #3 in a world of Jones, Hopkins, Trinidad, De La Hoya and Mosley?

I don't think Corrales was ever rated that high. Even if he was, his wins over Garcia, Gainer, and Manfredy crap all over anyone on g strings resume
