Picking out one aspect and failing to address the overall point is a female trait. It's called hysteria. It is not about Floyd but we would be politically correct to not include him into the point we were making.

He is at the top of the Al Haymon mountain of duckers/cherry pickers and "smart businessmen".
Your previous post blamed Mayweather for everything wrong in the world. I was trying to point out that Mayweather didn't invent the businesses practices you despise so he shouldn't get all of the criticism.

I didn't address the overall point because I can't relate / agree with your comments on the knock out game or rap music.....since this is a boxing forum I tried to keep my response to boxing.

I'm inclined to think that if HBO is the sticking point, Haymon should let Stevenson do it. Now if it's a case of there being more money to be made by both parties off-HBO, then I'll understand if they don't agree to that. That said, it strikes me that Kovalev's habdlers have no real reason to make this fight. They're waiting on a bigger one in Ward so there's no need to go through this process. I think someone's posturing.

When Stevenson left HBO, he signed with Showtime (and Al Haymon). I don't remember Stevenson fighting in a 'PBC' card.

I cant believe some boxing fans cant recognize the blueprint when it smacks them in the face.
Was she in full sabotage mode when Haymon had Beterbiev turn down what Michel deemed a "fair offer" to fight Kovalev, too?

For the love of Christ, how can any self-respecting individual take Stevenson's side based off of the "purse bid" thing. The fight was being primed when Kovalev fought on his undercard on HBO. The perfect moment and they took a different route. Nothing supersedes that. Not the backing out of the purse bid, not Kathy Duva being shady; not Kovalev being locked into a HBO contract.
Both were equally cowardly. Both decided to flee for the security of a contract instead of making the fight happen when they had the ability. Each boxer did the exact same thing. Stevenson in 2014 then Kovalev in 2015. By taking sides, you expose your bias.

A defending champion who wants to face his #1 challenger does not need a purse bid in order to face him. You're the champ, you can make it happen whenever you want to. You can face him if he is a mandatory or you can face him voluntarily.
Well in this case, the lineal champion would have to acquiesce to the #1 challenger's demands. Rival network, less money. Why would he do this? For the fans?

either way u must admit this was not your excuse when she was begging for the purse bid...so why are u using it now?
You misunderstood. She is crooked as hell for pulling out of the purse bid that she asked for. If I recall, Kovalev's deal had just ran out. They could have did the Stevenson fight, and then resigned with HBO afterward. For all her tough talk, she isn't confident in her charge against Stevenson though, or else why back out? Kovalev would have gotten a career high purse to fight Stevenson. My point was along the lines that, for all the talk of the bull**** ass family atmosphere, you can see peoples real motives, by situations like the purse bid pull out, but also by how little of his purses Kovalev actually gets.

Why are people b*tching about Duva? They agreed to the terms set by GYM and now it's in GYM & Haymon's hands. I think that's great news. Technically the fight would be on HBO due to Kovalev's contract, but it'll be on ppv so the fight makes whatever it's market value would be. Where's the problem?

u're not new to boxing..why are u so naive? she's getting out in front of some BS before it happens and she'll appear to win, bc we know haymon doesnt do interveiws or give statements...she wont be exposed until gym or stevenson speak up like always...im not on either side..im just going by wat history has told us with this , but i actually hopes she is not lying..but if she said on hbo..im sure that was not their terms..they need a fight like this to push PBC and they woul d easily get more ratings on pbc
