or maybe they're alluding to the fact that he won't go to 168 to fight andre ward [who fights at 175 lbs now.]

who knows. it's NSB. these guys are completely delusional.
Ward and the super six. At leaast those guys had the balls to fight each other in their divisions. At least Kessler and Froch attempted to be great by fighting the best.

Seemed to be so much less drama when they set it up and went at it.

Likely not, I think the more dangerous waters are above.

where are the dangerous waters? you guys gonna make them up again?

you guys gonna try and build lara into a boogeyman again, and tell me golovkin is ducking him? compelling argument, that one.

erislandy lara barely sqeaked by alfredo angulo. he barely sqeaked by alfredo angulo. he was on the ropes and taking body shots against a guy who does nothing better than golovkin.
I think the more dangerous waters are up above.

I never made any claim that he is ducking Lara. what's up with all this fake outrage about something I never said or implied?

It's real simple. There is a very large subset of NSB, you might be a member, that used the term "ducking" any time a fighter you did not like didn't fight a potential opponent, regardless of the real reasons why.

Now that there is small subset of NSB that is using the term "ducking" regarding GGG with Ward or Lara, it is ridiculous and disgustingly hypocritical to see you and other GGG fans get bent out of shape about it.

As to the Thread-GGG is making money doing it this way so there is no need to risk losing before the Canelo fight.

and of course, the badassery of a tournament that mandated that froch, kessler, ward, dirrell, abraham, all fight it out back to back, is crapped on today. cuz ward won it

the SS is one of the the best things that ever happened to 168 lbs not named roy jones. those guys fought basically back to back for 2-3 years. just look at what happens when they're allowed to matchmake based on their own devices.

FFS, you are reacting to something that wasn't posted. You literally are making up what was posted and then reacting to that and not the post. That's delusional.

at 168 lbs? ward's the only ppv attraction for golovkin, and he's a 175 lber now.

basically your argument is that he's too good for 160, so we should blame him for not moving to 168 when 160 lbers won't fight him . that's an argument that looks to place blame on golovkin while completely avoiding the context of the current landscape at 160 and 168.

you just want to see him lose, and you're going to call him protected until he does. you guys are not fooling anybody

No that is your argument that you put on others solely for the sake of arguing.

GGG was not getting the fights he wanted. He tried to make other fights. He didn't try as hard to make other fights.

What GGG fans want is people to "be fair" to GGG after years of them seeing no reason to treat other fighters that way. GGG fans ignored facts, politics, context etc etc when criticizing other fighters, yet now want those things to be factored in when criticizing GGG.

Sorry, I don't feel bad that he is getting treated equally.

I didn't put a gun to Team GGG's head and make them say the things they did. I didn't make him willing to fight certain guys at 168 and not others. I didn't make him say he could make 154 comfortably then whine about 155.

Why can't you and the rest of his fans hold him accountable for what he said? That's what you guys used to do, now suddenly you want NSB to take a more reasoned approach.

GTFOH! GGG is reaping what his fans sowed.

                  • if you think golovkin's been moved slowly, you're deluded.

they TRIED to move him into fights with:
                    martinez
                    quillin
                    sturm
                    cotto
                    alvarez
                    ndam
                    barker

and others. those may not be names to write home about [cotto, alvarez, and martinez are likely hall of famers, but they're smaller, two of them are older.] but they are still some of the best MWS on the planet. you can't go into a time machine and bring guys from the past or future to fight.

a fighter is moved slowly, yet he's so good that you think the only "dangerous waters" are 168 lbs? golovkin is not a 168 lber! what does that say about how he was moved, or what we can say about how good he is?

golovkin is very clearly the best 160 lber on the planet, and he'll probably knock canelo out if GBP ever makes that fight. i don't think they will.
