Pavlik also jumped up and challenged himself with Hopkins

Now tell me please how long was it until Top Rank signed Manny? About 6 fuqing years after he was already a multiple division champion. Did you forget about that or conveniently didn't mention it.

And you should remember Manny came in on HBO get his ass handled by Lewbada, that's a fact. And fortunately for Manny he fought when a warrior named MAB also fought who most likely watched Manny struggle in his previous fight and taught it'll be a good name on his resume.

The main difference is one man turned pro as a teen and the other turned pro as an adult. But it took both roughly the same amount of time to get on HBO.

Pavlik also thought Hopkin was a washed up has been who had lost twice to the man he beat twice. Hopkins was also coming off a lost to Calzaghe, where he looked really pathetic, tired by the 7th, and out-hustled by what some fans may call a slapper.

in 10 years Manny had a hell of a resume morales,Marquez and Barrera already..thats my point..GGG is being moved very slowly and his resume is suffering due to it..

Does not change the fact he jumped 2 divisions to fight him?

Like I said in my previous post, his real carreer started 39 months ago, in September 2012. Look what he and K2 achieved in such short period of time...

He will most likely be fighting Canelo next year, in the biggest fight of 2016, so obviously his promoter isn't that bad.

Also if you don't think he did good, just look at this forum: he's new Floyd Mayweather of NSB.

He's the Floyd Mayweather of a boxing website but the Shane Mosley vs. Mayorga of PPV's. His resume is not good and K2 can't get him a big fight. I think that's very relevant since that's what everybody wants to see.

If they really want to build up canelo/ggg fight then ggg next fight cannot be johnson. His team has to dust off the wallet pay some big boys to get in there. jacobs or winner of lee/saunders. maybe even move up for one fight against degale, dirrells, or another 168 fighter or even offer Lara to call bluff

It hasn't even been a month since Canelo - Cotto and K2 are already negotiating with GBP.

What all those fighters had in common besides GGG were championship belts at previous weights. And were accomplished in their 20s, GGG is just old. Granted it's his experience that makes him win, but GGG has the worst mgmt any pro boxer who has been following the industry would do press for themselves to make things happen. Therefore GGG is a bonafide coward content with his resume or else he would've fought Ward by now. Marquez at 36 fought a young 22 Diaz. The excuses for GGG are really sad...
