Obviously there is wear and tear there but I don't think it was his age or decline that was the deciding factor. People say about being him being unable to pull the trigger yet that is just his nature and always has been. He also had no problems in the 11th and 12th pulling the trigger when he knew he had to go for broke.
He looked similar against Ibragimov, Chambers etc
Even against Povetkin there was dozens of opportunities to let his right hand go but he was too hesitant of getting countered over the top so would opt too clinch instead.
Lets not take away from Fury. He did all the right things, backed his mouth up and beat the most dominant champion out there.
It doesn't matter how great you are if you fight enough you'll eventually find someone with the antidote. Fury had it. Not just Tyson, credit to his whole team as ugly as it was they done their homework.
Its always so and so is shot, he was on this and that. Why can't we ever just give credit without detracting from a fighters win?
