Happy to admit I was wrong... But it's not like Fury destroyed Wlad but more exposed his age. It was possibly the most overrated, lack luster performance from both men, and possibly one of the worst Heavyweight Championship fights in recent years!

Fury did win, but did so in a quite unimpressive way. I was far from impressed, but more in disbelief of how much Klitchko has declined. Fury had the perfect game plan for a man who could no long keep up.

I watched and hated on Wlad for a longtime, always claiming he was the champ of a chump generation but it was quite obvious (including during Jennings) that he was on the decline but how much? No one would have guessed as much as seen against Fury. Wlad has always had power, a great jab and good speed for his size but that was completely unseen... And that was not just because of Fury game plan.

A great jab which was neutralised by Fury. There's no power punches if Wlad can't get his jab working.

The jab and his ability to clinch is his safety blanket. Take those away and you see the end result.

The term "shot" gets thrown around far too much and reduces to a silly argument.

Wladimir Klitschko might not be fully shot, which is only a relevant statement anyway.

But Klitschko is VISIBLY faded from even last year, his Jennings showing horrible.

There's no question of that. The only question is, has age caught up with him? OR.. Did he merely have the "Lennox Lewis syndrome" where he was pre-occupied and showed up to fights unfocussed and detatched, which on these occasions either did or nearly did cost him the fight.

Personally I think it's obviously a bit of both. Yes the man is getting older and thus I think it's pretty apparent that he is on the slide in this way,

As for "shot", I don't think he is so shot as to not be capable of beating Tyson Fury in the rematch, and if not, he would still be one of if not the best opponent Fury could face.

But complacency, laziness and most importantly overconfidence and underestimation of Fury, who was for most fans considered house-keeping and a stay busy easy win opponent- definitely played its large role.

              This is embarrassing.

Can you take Tyson Fury's **** out of your mouth for like, two seconds?

Wladimir looked bad against Jennings and awful against Fury. As a fan, I don't believe in excuses. Fury was the better man and is now the champion. That's awesome! But leave it at that. Trying to further elevate Fury's win by trying to convince people that he beat a peak/prime version of Wladimir solely due to being a superior fighter and the fact that Klitschko is 40 means nothing is absolutely pathetic fangirl ****.

You argument is like a 14 year old girl trying to 'prove' that Black Veil Brides are better than Motley Crue. Just stop. You're going to be embarrassed when you become an adult one day and look back on posts like this.

Wlaimir looked poor against Jennings, he looked poor against Haye too.

But he looked outstanding against Pulev....why?

He looks great when he has a stiff stationary dummy in front of him. He's made a career off it.

The Jennings fight was telling for me. I felt that Wlad was either injured or mentally shot/not in the game anymore. If you want to praise Fury, you'll have to find another way. Let's not forget, Tyson hardly did a damn thing himself in that fight. Both looked terrible but Wlad is done, IMO. Hopefully Fury will be able to prove himself against some of the new blood.
