Terrible list! No way should Jones be at 4 in his 21st century career...he'd be lucky to scratch a top 30. Ward and Canelo in a top 10 are also horrible inclusions....

This thread is made for RJJ. Guy went from HBO marquee to getting KOd by every fighter he fought later on. He might just make a top 50 now....max baer likes this.

I won't go down the route of Mayweather is a duck, we confirmed that over nearly a decade from the mid 00s to the mid 10s in this forum.
As for Canelo, he has always been tricking people with his so called legacy. What division exactly is his best? He didn't have his best wins at light...

I didn't say Frazier should not be included because of cause of death, I was just saying he did not belong in that group (Patterson, Ingemar etc). He should be in the latter group of champs along side Ali, Norton et al. Unless I misunderstood the groupings....

I would say for this list you would have to separate it out and minus Frazier and he was essentially the nest gen of heavyweight champs (I'm adding Liston to this as well) :
Thereafter, it appears that most champions, on the whole, are living shorter lives:
