You're an idiot that plays that same hate-card every time two pimps names come up in Floyd & Haymon. Those fools have ONLY EVER cared about themselves, period. It's not hate issue at all. It's what kind of product do you deliver to fans. I'm sure you loved GGG-Lemieux, Cotto-Canelo, Matthysse-Rios, Matthysse-Postol wars. I'm sure you'll love Kovalev-Ward in the making. Garcia-Paulie Mags? Are you kidding me? Porter-Broner? Lousy. Thurman-Collazo? Khan-Collazo? Garcia-Guerrero? 2 years too late.Lol notice how all the Haymon haters got these long ass comments like they got something to be concerned about? Guarantee most if not all of them also hate Floyd Mayweather and his success and are in love and clinging on to anything that has to do with Golden Boy, Top Rank, GGG, Kovalev, Canelo, Pacquiao or anything that DOESN'T have something to do with PBC, Haymon or Mayweather.. I could go on and on about fighters who are with Haymon who get hated consistently.. Garcia and Stevenson just to name two off the head.
How come the guy can't make Khan-Thurman, Porter-Garcia???? (Khan was spouting off about Thurman/Garcia was saying Porter is tailor-made for him!) To name a few. Because he wants to keep each name intact, valid, current, so to drive paychecks off each, then to have them fight one another and eliminate HALF his stable with a loss....
Enjoy your free TV because that's probably all you can afford. But Haymon & Co deliver a lousy product, as well as slow to deliver.Comment

I wasn't even talking about Haymon. I was speaking in general. I think if boxing is under one league like format there is more money going towards putting on a quality & branded show like other sports do each night. And I think a league like format is the only way the top guys will fight each other with regularity & the only way one champion is ever reached in most of our lifetimes. As fans thats what everyone should wanna see one day.I get what you mean you will see more guys get paid what they are worth. But my question is will they fully be able to maximize money wise?
For example Cotto vs Canelo both will probably will end up making over 8 figures. Can guys under Al Haymon's contract ever make that kind of money?
I know people like to criticize Golden Boy, Top Rank, etc.....but Bob Arum and Oscar have made there best guys top dollar.....Will Al Haymon be able to do that with his stable of guys?
And I know Floyd Mayweather will be brought up but he is a whole other star and I'm sure his contract was probably night and day compared to the 200 plus guys under Al Haymon.
Sure Mayweather & Manny won't be making 9 digits in a night & Canelo, Cotto & Klitschko might not be making 8 digits in a night, but overall more guys will be making life changing money so overall more boxers would be doing better just like in the UFC more fighters (per capita) are making life changing money.
In regards to Haymon I feel like there is a lot of money to be made in boxing under the sorta PBC venture he's trying to build. I feel like most people feel Haymon is overpaying guys right now. But for the real big Cotto vs Canelo super fights where the PPV model is in play I think its to be determined how Haymon maximizes profits for his fighters as I think its somewhat established as fact that Haymon is anti-PPV (outside of Floyd obviously) so PBC won't be utilizing a PPV model. I'm assuming the Wilder vs Povetkin fight will be a good indicator of how Haymon plans to maximize profits for his fighters for the bigger fights cuz I don't think that one is a million or two to each guy type fight. That Russian billionaire guy says he's willing to pay Povetkin vs Klitschko money in a purse bid for that fight.Comment

In PBC's first year Haymon has already delivered a Fight of the Year candidate in Huck vs Glowacki.
Mares vs Santa Cruz, Dirrell vs Degale, and McDonnell vs Kameda were not bad either. They were not only competitive but also significant in the international boxing scene.
He has put on his share of mismatches but so have all the other promoters. But because people hate Floyd the PBC has to be held to higher standards I guess.Comment

He has tons more white boxers. His model isn't based on skin pigmentation, it's what makes the most money for the boxers and for his pocket, the capitalist way. I'm fine with that as long as the output is good too. What he's done so far is amazing.
This guy basically took over boxing in a short span. I can see a complete dominance in a few more years. He puts on almost all non-PPV boxing events (including the replacing of Friday Night Fights on ESPN, with more quality fighters).
Damn, that's a good position to be in, with fighters happy too? Go Haymon!Comment

what makes the most money for the boxers huh....like making quillin turn down 1.4 million to fight for 500k and dropping his belt in the process. that was best for quillin how?He has tons more white boxers.
