He's top 5, whether you like it or not. #1 is pushing it though.

definitely not top 5 what the heck??? canelo's best wins (trout, lara and cotto) are debatable. he barely even beat cotto. trout fight was very close (easily a draw). and many had lara beating canelo.

not to mention he's fighting all of his fights at 155. what kind of top 5 p4p'er does that???? making up their own weight class to fight in????? hahahahahahahah give me a break. canelo is all hype and completely overrated.

It's not a question of liking it or not. I always try to be objective. Canelo has just not done anything to deserve being in the P4P top 5. In no way should he be ranked higher than guys like Golovkin, Kovalev, Ward, Fury, Pacquiao, etc.

I think Boxrec uses a point system to set their p4p list, the better opponents you beat the more points you get, the higher you are on the p4p list. Most other lists are objective.

You don't get put into the P4P ratings for something you did 4 years ago buddy...

Maybe we could make an argument and say Rigondeaux should still be in the top 10 but even as a HUGE Golovkin fan I'm well aware wins over Trout, Lara and Cotto are massive wins!
Canelo has been on a tear in the past few years my only complaint with him is he isn't inside the 154 limit but whatever he still beat those guys dude.

Who has Kovalev, GGG, Ward and so on beat in recent years in an active manner that tops those three mentioned, Canelo has fought the fights people like assumingly you would want him to fight and he can't catch a damn break!
