His P4P rankings need to reflect the fact that he's outweighing guys by 15 lbs most fights.

Well, compare their best wins and you will see that Canelo is not even ahead in that category. Martin Murray would beat Miguel Cotto. Lemieux is not much worse than Kirkland. Golovkin is still undefeated, though, with a higher KO percentage. Canelo has arguably lost up to 3 times (his wins against Trout and Lara are extremely debatable). As an extra point in Golovkin's favour, Canelo is ducking him, hiding behind that 155 lbs barrier, despite easily being a natural middleweight at this point.

lol I don't even think Murray would beat Cotto. He's garbage. He just lost to a 40 year old, past his prime, champ. It doesn't matter if you think he "arguably" lost, bottom line is he beat them and they're wins on his resume. I don't care if Golovkin has been crushing cans for 20 fights in a row.

If Arthur Abraham had such a hard time with Martin Murray, little Cotto wouldn't be able to do much to him. There is an enormous size difference between them. Trout is much smaller than Murray but was far too tall for Cotto.

But Murray can't even punch lol the size difference wouldn't matter. No way he outboxes Cotto, no way in hell. Trout is also a much better boxer than Murray.

What exactly have GGG or Kovalev done to be ranked higher?

boxrec exercises an objective, calculated ranking system. it does not explicitly take into account of skills etc..
see their site for a more detailed explanation if you want. but it should be used as a reference only.

                  anyways on topic,
i honestly dont see how canelo will be p4p #1 either.
hes filled up his frame already it seems.
and after mayweather, lara, cotto fights, he STILL DOESNT KNOW HOW TO CUT THE RING!!! Still lacking ring iq.. kinda lost hope on that part of his game..

Kovalev has obliterated the level of competition Alvarez is barely beating.

not to mention he's fighting all of his fights at 155. what kind of top 5 p4p'er does that???? making up their own weight class to fight in????? hahahahahahahah give me a break. canelo is all hype and completely overrated.
You've never had one good thing to say about Canelo. You dint like him, and never have. That's not objective. End of story.
