He can study and know the flaws all he wants, but I highly, highly doubt Lara can actually take advantage of them. His style plays right into Golovkin's strengths IMO.

Watch out Golovkin, Lara's coming after you. I seriously wouldn't mind seeing this fight, if Canelo wants to stay hiding in his own, made up, division.

when i, you know, actually present logical premises, like this one:

        lara is a 154 lber. he's fought 154 lbers
        golovkin is a 160 lber. he's fought 160 lbers.

160 lbers are generally tougher fights than 154 lbers.

what you'd have to do in this case is demonstrate which wins you think give lara's 154 lb wins the edge over the resume of the best 160 lber on the planet.

the funny thing is, a lot of you recognize that lara has zero chance to beat golovkin. go watch what happened when he fought alfredo f#cking angulo! go watch it again! and yet it's still a duck

The last time I check Ward was making a career out of GGG's career...

Um......"Lil G" just headlined his first PPV while Ward got kicked off of his first potential PPV undercard. "Lil G" has been headlining HBO cards while Ward has been fighting on BET. Fairly easy to see who has a career and who is a has been.

154 is a deeper division than 160. 154 currently has more talent than 160. Your "general" statement doesn't apply at the moment. Capiche?

Under 150K PPV buys isn't anything to brag about. And if Ward is a has been, Golovkin is certainly a never was.

What is there in Lara's record that would make any intelligent knowledgeable boxing fan think he would be GGG? Who did Lara ever beat that would indicate him might beat GGG? Lara lost to both Williams and Canelo and he could do no better than a draw with Vans and Molina. He was dropped twice by crude average slugger Angulo. Lara's best win was Trout. Lara has 20 wins 2 losses and 2 draws with 12 KOs. That doesn't compare well at all compared to GGG's 36 wins,33KOs no losses and no draws. Can any sane boxing fan with a brain imagine GGG losing to Williams, and being held to a draw by Molina and Vans? Hell no. Since losing to Canelo 19 months ago Lara defended his title against 3 poor fighters who were not even remotely close to being in the top 10 or even worthy challengers. Not only does Lara have no chance of beating GGG, he has done nothing to deserve the fight.

Agreed. Golovkin would walk through Lara.

Judging him on ability is more important than record. Lara's skilled enough to give GGG his toughest challenge.
