This is because said "reluctance" exists only in the imagination of some NSB posters.

Wow....it's incredible that Lara has to jump through so many hoops to get the fight whereas bums like Munroe are "proven" enough to get a shot.

      ...
Lara and Monroe (not Munroe) had different monetary demands. And it's not like they fought and Lara came out victorious (a-la GGG-Geale in relation to Cotto previous fight).

What were Lara's monetary demands? The conversation never started.

Fight offensively? He fought like he alwaays did, just Zaveck went down after a couple straight lefts, That guy was a 40 year old shot welterweight that gets invited to make PBC fighters look good. He folded within 5 rounds against frigging Berto.

Anyway i dont mind seeing how GGG destroys the guy. But i dont see you guys on social media or wherever asking for that fight. Theres literally zero hype for it.

          • Actually Lara and GGG know eachother very well.
They both competed in countless amateur fights, but in different weight divisions. Lara in -69kg for Cuba, GGG in -75kg for Kazakhstan. They know eachother very well. Just saying.

Now you are trying to compare lil g's resume to Lara? GTFOH! Like I said be very thankful that HBO and lil g's management staff is protecting him from Ward and Lara. You will have to find another not black fighter to **** ride. You drunk the cool-aid I ain't letting that go. You still think rousey is the best and beats the top male boxer? LMAO hahahaha
I've been right here homie. I said my piece and don't need to say anymore for a troll like you. Peace out!

              • There aren't many better fights than Lara vs Golovkin right now tbh.

Lara will just run all night and try to counter, while GGG will try to catch him while cutting off the ring.

                  Easy too see.

That doesn't really take away from the quality of the fight. In one corner you've got the stalker, an Eastern European predator who gets to his prey before 12 rounds are up. In the other, a slick Cuban who's been schooled well and has the skills. Last time Golovkin went the distance was 7 years ago in an 8 round fight, Murray nearly took him the distance doe.

I don't think Golovkin has ever fought anyone like Lara either. Suppose ze Cuban loses a close decision after spells of outboxing the Kazakh?

                      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakhyt_Sarsekbayev

Hmm... Wiki says Lara lost twice to Kazakh, Bakhyt Sarsekbayev.

So he doesn't have immunity against kazakh boxers. lol
